Adriatic Apartments

The studio was spacious and well equipped, with a kitchen, wardrobe, TV, chest of drawers, and a small balcony. Although the view wasn’t special, it was pleasant to sit outside. The kitchen had everything we needed, including an ice machine, and the bathroom was clean and roomy. Communication about collecting the keys was clear and straightforward. The location was convenient too, with a supermarket and café opposite, and both Marjan Hill and the city centre within easy walking distance.

The main drawback was the bed. The mattress sagged in the middle, causing both of us to roll towards the centre and sleep poorly. Because of that, we wouldn’t return unless the mattress was replaced. Otherwise, it’s a good option for heavy sleepers who don’t mind sharing a soft bed.

Beautiful, bright apartment with everything you need and more. The location is perfect – just a short walk to the city center and a supermarket right across the street. Everything was perfect, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Everything was perfekt

The apartment was great. It’s 15 min walk from the city center and from the central bus station where the bus from Split airport arrives. There’s fully equipped kitchen (including spices, coffee and tea). Contact with Ivana who’s the owner was also great. On the opposite side of the street there is a supermarket and 2 min away there’s a bakery. I’d highly recommend this place!

The apartment was beautiful and decorated so well. So many lovely finishing touches with the decor. Large, comfortable bed and lots of storage space. Great location, only 15 minute walk from the Old Town.

No washing machine but I didn’t expect one.

The apartment is really nice and cozy. It has a cute balcony on the back side of the building where you can sit and relax. Located within 15 minutes walking distance from the city center, it is a very convenient and quiet place to stay (the city center can get very crowded and noisy). There is a super market and a coffee place right across the street.

The bed mattress is a bit soft and makes a dip in the middle.

The pictures you see posted for this apartment do NOT deceive you. It looks as lovely as the photos make it seem. It seems and feels more like a regular place to live in than something your rent for vacation. The place comes well equipped with almost everything you could need or want, cooking included. What was missing but present on some of the images was a microwave... but no big deal. While you will undoubtedly feel right at home... it is the apartment's location that makes it truely exceptional. ########## Quick Tips and Travel Guide ########## If you land at Split Airport I highly recommend you take the public bus 37. In contrast to taxis it is dirt cheap and it operates early in the morning and late in the evening. You can pay the driver directly in the bus. It'll terminate at Sukiušan which is a 15-20min walk to the apartment. If you took the airport express bus instead which brings you to the harbor this would increase to around 20-30mins and is slightly more uphill. Don't exchange money before you get to Croatia, just use your credit or debit card at the airport and all over the city. BUT DO NOT USE the yellow and black machines. They read "no commission", but will charge you a TON extra. Use one of the other ones and potentially compare prices. The machines will quote you the amount you have to pay BEFORE payout. Opposite the apartment you'll find a small local supermarket (Tommy) that is frequented by locals. Prices are good and it has everything you'll need. If you want to take a 5mins walk there's also a WAY bigger Lidl supermarket nearby that will have a lot more things. The city center is around a 15mins walk away and it's quite a comfortable walk. Best of all... the city is really safe. Walking home late in the evening? No problem. If you want to go to the beach, there's many different options. Some more touristic than others. The good beaches (non-touristic) are very beautiful and only a 20min walk...

Some other people have reported this: the bathroom may start stinking. I believe it's coming from the piping and a drain in the floor. There are ants in the kitchen. This can happen, especially in Mediterranean countries and climates, but it can be annoying. You should store every opened food item in the fridge. Otherwise the ants WILL find it.

Loved the apartment, gives off a very homey vibe. It had absolutely everything you might need and the location was great! Free parking spots nearby is a great bonus! The host was lovely, was a pleasure meeting her and we will definitely be back very soon!
