Location was perfect,beds comfortable,facilities spot on,good shower

Wanted normal TV channels but couldn’t get them

Great location for main street and walking distance to Lowther Gardens and Fairhaven lake. Rooms spacious just as photos showed.

Not having a nonslip mat for in the shower/bath

It was our 2nd visit & we were as impressed as last year too. We had also recommended it to other members of our family who also stayed at Lobster cottage 😃.

Very good central location for Lytham high street and walks on Lytham green . Very clean and well equipped for self catering .

The location was fantastic, being literally a minute away from both the main square and the sea front. The cottage itself was charming and surprisingly spacious. The paved, whitewashed rear yard with table and chairs was a bonus. We have stayed in quite a few holiday lets in the area and both agreed this was our favourite. We hope to stay again soon.

Its location, being so close to the Main Street and Lytham Green

Everything!! We arrived late afternoon/early evening, struggled at first to locate the property as many properties on this lane weren’t numbered, eventually arrived at a tired looking building where my wife claimed that this is it! I replied ‘I truly hope not’ Well! This cottage has been tarted up by the world’s laziest decorator! Firstly the white walls were badly marked by general wear and tear, nobody clearly could be bothered to paint over them to freshen the place up going by the rest of the decor! The woodwork, skirting/door frames had had a lick of paint slapped on, over very tired flaking paint! There were numerous cracked tiles on the kitchen floor, the small garden area had a badly rotted gate and door to a store cupboard that had been painted over to hide just how bad they were! This is before we mention that the little area would never have inspired me to sit there!! Both bedrooms had paper peeling due to dampness, which had been painted over? Light sockets had also had the lazy painters touch so he didn’t have to mask them! The carpets didn’t even fit the rooms, and were frayed at the edges. The widow frames were rotted, and the windows had clearly never been cleaned! The furniture is old and tired, bathroom ceiling is also stained due to dampness! All in all this property is not how it is described on their website! Far from it! We stated for a total of around forty minutes while we dealt with the booking agents, and left with a child with no accommodation booked, that is how bad this property is. Thankfully we managed to secure a room in a good hotel. One other point, nearly every single holiday rental that I’ve booked, the owners either leave a welcome hamper, or there are at least condiments in the cupboards, this property, absolutely nothing! The entire place screams of being run on the very cheap. I have many photos of anyone wants to see more.

The garden furniture was a little tiered perhaps a wooden garden set with a umbrella would finish it off perfectly 😀

•The location is great! Close to everything in Lytham: shops, cafes, restaurants, The Windmill, Lytham Green and a short walk to Lowther Gardens and the railway station. • The lounge - cozy and welcoming with lots of seaside pictures etc. plenty of lobster references! • The kitchen - equipped with pretty much everything you might need, even a small dishwasher and washing machine. What you need when staying in a "home from home" • The bedrooms - both lovely and comfortable, plenty of storage space. • The bathroom - great shower, plenty of towels • Parking - if you can get a spot on the road there are parking permits available in the house, so we did and left our car there all the time. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.😊

• Sadly we think the front entrance to the house does not reflect the loveliness of the inside. • My usual complaint with accommodation Europe-wide.....just not enough hangers!!! If you're staying more than a few days, bring your own!! • The outside space at the back of the property is sadly a little uninviting. There is a nice table and chairs but no plants or colour, needs a refresh But we didn't mark down for any of these issues as we still had a lovely stay.

The cottage is in the middle of Lytham but surprisingly quiet on a night. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. No parking outside but didn’t have much problem finding free on street parking close by.The description of Cottage garden and city views are a bit of a stretch. It’s a courtyard in need of a white wash surrounded by buildings. There is no terrestrial TV which would have been a problem had I not been with a young person who is used to streaming.

Property is in a great location, lovely spacious cottage with a private back yard. Clean and beautiful layout with a good family friendly feel. Clear instructions, good WiFi and tv choice.

could have done with a spring clean and maybe another comfy sofa so that 4 people can relax rather than 2

The location was ideal and the cottage was lovely.

No mirror downstairs didn’t like feather pillows. Only found the cooker hood fan power switch on the last day could do with a label.

The keys were in a lock box right next to the front door, the code was clearly detailed in the email we received.

The lock box is quite old and difficult to operate with one hand, that would be the only downside

Excellent cottage - clean, comfortable and in many ways a little home from home which is rare these days to be able to say. Location could not be better, close to everything but nice and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely comfortable cottage in a fabulous location close to shops and fabulous restaurants. Easy to park outside, will definitely return.

The cottage is so clean and welcoming. The location in Lytham was great for our needs and we could get the bus to do all our trips.

It was a little noisy outside in a morning from the bin men and the road sweeper. Other than that the location is perfect for shops and the sea front walk.

The location was excellent and we had no problem parking the car, the street we where in was very quiet.

No instructions for electric hob as we are more familiar with a gas hob.
