Excellent location, parking limited but no major issues Potential for 5 stars but the detail let it down

The property wasn't ready which led to a run-in with the cleaner, who wasn't best pleased. She told us we should have had a message, which came through about 3:10pm , when we had already let ourselves in at 3pm, as instructed! Pillowcase was stained and brown. It had been washed but wasn't appealing. Knife in block was dirty. Toilet roll holder loose. Bannister at the top of the stairs was filthy Sofa was badly stained so that room lost the 'wow' factor. No welcome pack, which is fair enough, but you really needed to provide everything yourself...even salt, as the cellar was empty. It has come to our attention that the cottage is for sale and I wonder if that's where the problem lies?

Excellent location and no problem parking. Double bed very comfortable. Handy little garden.

Didn’t like the stick on cover on lounge window. It needs a shutter. Otherwise no complaints

Great location, nice clean functional house. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, quiet, with coffee tea and sugar provided. A very good property which wouldn’t need much to make it perfect.

It would have been good to have basics like salt, cooking oil, milk. Decor could have been cosier and yard needs brightening up.

Interior & back patio needs a good clean. Shower- water came out scolding hot- reported it twice but was told was using it wrong!!! 2nd bedroom had no wardrobe for guests
