The breakfast was lovely. We especially enjoyed the freshly homemade fruit salad and proper yoghurt. Also the scrambled eggs were lovely and creamy.

Friendly, clean, comfortable and good for dogs

Ty Llew is a lovely house, well appointed, clean and cosy. The landlady was really friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side but perfectly clean and comfortable. There was a cosy sitting room with an honesty bar. The breakfast was good and plenty of it. Our dog even got a breakfast of sausage and scrambled egg and a protein kibble. The property was only a short walk into town, though it is uphill on the way back!

There is no parking as part of the property but there was plenty of space on the roads outside.

A Clean, comfortable and friendly stay in a good location.

The room and property are all spotlessly clean. The breakfast is superb and the staff are lovely. Parking is easy in the street right opposite the property. This was our second visit which proves how good it is and we’ve just booked another stay just before Christmas.

The room we booked is rather small but perfectly fine for a short stay and it was the least expensive on the site.

A little gem

We received a warm welcome from Gail. The house is very comfortable. We appreciated the use of the lounge and bar area as our bedroom was too small to accommodate a chair. The cooked breakfast was extremely good, and there was plenty of it.

Lovely friendly Owner and staff , nothing was too much trouble . The breakfast every morning was excellent , well cooked and plenty of it . Clean and very confortable , we both slept very well all 3 nights . We even recieved a bottle of wine when told it was our anniversery . So special . Thank you .

THIS PLACE IS A LITTLE GEM, Gail the owner and her staff are nothing short of amazing, the room was lovely with beautiful bedding and towels and lovely hand and body wash that i have now ordered for myself :) Breakfast was also fab so no negatives at all and we will 100% return.

The just was lovely, she was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was not the biggest but it was very very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower room had a modern airy feel to it. Again, it was spotless. The cooked breakfast we had the following morning was just delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you!

Perfect stay in Abergavenny

Stunning location about a 10 minute walk away from the town centre. Plenty of on street parking available outside. Building itself felt incredibly homely and our room was extremely comfortable with a huge walk in shower. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and the owner and staff were friendly!

This place is a wonderful little gem in Abergavenny!

The property was beautiful and so clean. Gail was a great host and nothing was too much for Tania the housekeeper who was so lovely! Breakfast was amazing and the bar was so cute with profits going to a charity - which is such a wonderful idea! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ty Llew Lodge and will definitely stay here again 😀

Beautiful property excellent location. The rooms were immaculate and spotless. The host was fantastic, very welcoming and the breakfast (Full Welsh) was excellent. This property is a gem of a find. Seriously one of the best Booking experiences we have had. Gail and Sue make this what it is.

The breakfast was outstanding. Menu provided the night before. We loved the whiskey flavoured porraidge and it was Welsh Whiskey. The Welsh breakfast had local ingredients and was too large to finish. The presentation of the accomadation is exceptional. But best of all is the wam welsh welcome from Gail and Sue. It was a joy to chat and laugh with them. And lets not forget the honesty bar.
