Faultless and very good value for money. Especially when compared to the sister hotel, The Angel.

Everything. Only 1 mark less as no cooked breakfast. But what was on offer was suburb and the best quality. Will be staying here again without question.

Conveniently located five minute walk to Llandudno town Parking on sight The rooms are comfortable , very well equipped Extremely clean with the shower being immaculately clean and having lovely hot high pressure water Lovely soft large towels Well stocked tray for hot drinks All staff are very freindly Love that they have locally sourced products to support local businesses Very nice continental breakfast with a large of array of choice Boiled eggs Salmon Toast Fresh fruits Locally sourced yoghurts Cereals and more Locally sourced coffee for very good coffee machine

Very pleasant stay in Abergavenny.

Wonderful small hotel with lovely lobby/reception sitting rooms and small bar. Short walk to town for restaurants/bars and shopping. Close to train station. Rooms were comfortable and continental breakfast was very good. Staff were pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Lovely hotel, perfect location, would recommend.

The welcome note was appreciated The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The tea facilities in the room were excellent. The location was perfect for us as it was only a short walk to the Borough Theatre. The continental breakfast was also excellent, particularly the bread, smoked salmon and accompaniments. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

the hotel was excellent. the only problem i had was with the sink in the bathroom. water constantly drained away in sink due to a rubber seal missing on pop up plug. this was reported by myself and i was offered another room. ingenuity by myself saved the day.

A great small hotel with brilliant atmosphere.

Small country hotel which was 5 star in all respects. Brilliantly fitted out and very well managed! Rooms and bathrooms brilliant and very clean. Great bar and live music one night. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Couldn't sleep without a fresh air

The staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything. The room was clean, the breakfast was great. The hotel has vegan options and a charming man who served breakfast and amazed my daughter with magic.

The room is very small and there was no fresh air at all. The windows were open for ventilation but it didn't help. I don't know why, but it's a problem with the room, maybe other rooms too (?).We turned on the fan but it was hard to sleep with it.

First class all the way

An excellent hotel, a perfect stay. The staff were friendly, helpful and approachable, the rooms stylish and very comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. There was even a welcome note from the manager on arrival. The location, about 10 minutes' walk from the railway station and a couple into Abergavenny centre, can't be bettered. The bar was a lovely place for a drink. There's no restaurant, but you don't need one: sister hotel The Angel, in the centre, is the best place to eat in town. We will definitely return.

Beautiful night away

Beautiful and charismatic hotel. We received a warm welcome straight away and nothing was ever too much as they catered to our needs. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh pastries etc.

Ffion gave us a lovely welcome and showed us to our room, which was peaceful and so tastefully decorated. The position of this hotel is very convenient for buses/ trains and has a super-market close by.

Reliably very good.

Our second time staying here, and we'd come again for a stop off night. Continental style breakfast which was a nice change.

The room was very hot and the duvet was heavy, but we just took the quilt out of the cover and I was fine.

Great stay

The hotel let us check in early and leave our bags there, lovely young girl was there on time and when we got back late the bag was in the room.

It was a very hot weekend 31 degrees! and although we didn't have air-conditioning in our room we had a fan, but also a very thick winter dovet I would have liked the option of just a sheet. Breakfast was good and kept well topped up, couple of small things are tomatoes available with breakfast would be very welcome and salt and pepper on tables, staff were very attentive and welcoming.

I enjoyed my stay as near the Railway and Bus Stations!

I enjoyed the breakfast - 2 weetabix plus strawberries and blueberries and milk! Then two pieces of brown bread with 3 slivers of smoked salmon! Also had one or two flat white coffees!

Overall quite happy either stay

The breakfast was very nice although the room is quite warm. Liked dual aspect windows in bedroom- good air flow. Furniture and fittings/ Cleanliness excellent.

Shower bit under powered but nice and warm. TV - no opportunity to log into apps unlike at the Angel. Parking very limited

Ffion was super friendly and so helpful! Decor was tasteful and welcoming! Even had a basket of toys in one of the lounges (which seemed put of place with decor but so thoughtful for us) 👌! B&B only … so many restaurants in town centre short walk away! Breakfast is continental but extensive choice and plenty full … really lovely! Ourselves and Grandson had an exciting time!
