Location was excellent, The room was clean and had good facilities. The continental breakfast was well provisioned. The Bar was welcoming. Convenient car parking. Staff very helpful and friendly.
The rooms are a little compact and some facilities a little difficult to access. Bathroom was good, but nowhere to put things down. You could also hear any movement from other rooms and corridor as like a lot of places these days no one thinks about acoustic separation when knocking up stud walls. Overall not too bad a position at the back of the building.

Location, friendly staff, little touches i.e welcome note and homemade biscuits, one of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in and good choice of items for breakfast. Free parking too.

Good location on the outskirts of town centre. Comfortable room. On-site parking a bonus.
We were looking forward to breakfast with fresh bread and pastries from the Angel Hotel bakery. Disappointingly the bread and pastries were not freshly baked.
