Magical stay in Lindau!

Erich was lovely at check in! Met us at the door and showed us everything we needed to know about the flat! The communication was excellent, location fantastic, and the flat was so darling. Highly recommended

Apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It is centrally located and is also not far from the parking lot. Erich gave us a warm welcome and staff are also friendly.

Great spot in a central position on the island

Great position and plenty of room. Bed was super comfy. Host was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay in Lindau. It was very quiet. Lot's of restaurants and cafes close by

There was no lift and 43 stairs to navigate with your luggage. No problem if you're fit and able

Lovely location and host, but do check which floor you’re on if steep, narrow stairs are an issue for you

The apartment was in a great location in the centre of the island, near lots of restaurants and historic sights. It was tastefully furnished and spacious enough for our 4-night stay. We also liked having a balcony. Good shower. Our host was very responsive and helpful.

The narrow stairs … we were at the top of the house, and although our host helped carry up our cases, we really struggled carrying them down while trying not to damage the paintwork. Also, we were a bit surprised to find there was no soap - well, there was a soap container with hardly any liquid in it. We arrived quite late at night and were desperate for a shower after travelling all day, and hadn’t remembered to pack any emergency soap (not normally needed) ourselves, so this was a small inconvenience.

Lovely staycation

The room was beautiful and clean and had a lovely balcony, the house is situated right in the middle of town and just 5 min walk from the station, easily find many restaurants and bakeries nearby. We were welcomed by the owners and they were very kind and helpful towards all our queries.

Just a suggestion: 1. TV could be a smart TV, as it was just a cable connection and it only had German channels. For people wanting to spend more time in the room, it can provide necessary entertainment. 2. Few English books to read.

I DIDN'T LIKE THAT THE PAYMENT METHOD IS CASH ONLY.WE MADE A RESERVATION FOR 3 DAYS AND THEY LEFT ONLY 1 ROLL OF TOILET PAPER.THE PARKING SPOT IS WERY FAR AWAY.WHEN WE TRY TO CALL THE HOSTS THEY DIDN'T ANSWER THE PHONE.AND THEY CHARGE US 1 DAY OF PARKING MORE.ON THE IMAGE OF THE APARTMENT VAS A PICTURE OF TERRAS BUT THERE ISN'T ONE(WE NEED TO READ SMALL LETTERS NEXT TIME)

Very good

Not the cheapest, but good! =>the accomodation was a 2 bedrooms and big living room with kitchen corner was clean. The owner was helpful and very kind, explained all about location and accomodation. Got 2 keys from it, easy. Location is superb in the city, walking distance to everything, shops, Rewe shop..There is a Irish pub cross the street if you want a beer, you can take it to the apartment and return the glasses the other day:-) I see the booking process and reaction quite easy and this is a big plus. The owner speaks german, a bit of english - so no issue to communicate if you are not a good german speaker. We did not have any issue or serious problem concerning the apartment. Even with small kids we would come again.

The only 2 issues I can see is the parking and absence of the daylight. The owner provides you with the paid place for parking (extra 65 EUR), but it is like 15 minutes walking distance from the accomodation which is tricky for packing the stuff for the trips and carrying it from/in the apartment. You have to plan, prepare and just bring the car to the apartment (you can park in the pedestrian zone only 10 minutes. The second issue maybe the lack of daylight, it is a half cellar apartment where on the other side where the bedrooms are, there are no regular windows..but for the 3-5 days trips who would care:-) The bathroom is without the window too, difficult to bring the fresh air in. The entrance is directly from the frequent main street to the kitchen, people are looking inside at you sitting at the dinning table whenever you open the door.

Zum Grauen Wolf -perfect! ♡

Everything. The apartment was super-cosy with a lovely terrace for hot days. The rain shower was lovely & the bed was super-comfy. Altogether a lovely apartment. The owner was lovely & picked me up from a hotel plus took me to the harbour to catch the ship. Super friendly owner. I loved the apartment & will love to come back again. Lindau is a wonderful place for a holiday too. So many cafe-bar restaurants & shops. So loved it there! Till next time!

Perfect! Lovely! Comfortable!

Absolutely everything! Lovely flat with homey, yet modern furnishings and décor. The owners were so wonderful to talk to. They are kind, helpful, interesting, welcoming, and fun! Perfect location!!! Simply put, this was the loveliest end to our European vacation.

I must have missed the agreement that we would pay cash rather than credit upon receiving keys to the flat. So, it is my suggestion that this requirement is repeated multiple times in the transaction to be crystal clear that the customer is fully informed.

Great location. Cozy but spacious room with sweet balcony overlooking neighboring rooftop garden. Nice, comfortable oasis.

What an absolutely beautiful apartment on the Island of Lindau. We'll equipped, beautifully furnished and in the perfect location. Beds are comfortable and towels are luxurious and soft. The owner, is delightful, friendly and very helpful. Loved the fresh flowers and cold prosecco in the apartment when we arrived.

The host Frau Rist is very attent and during our stay gave us some very useful tips. The apartment is very nicely decorated and it has 2 bedrooms. We slept very well and the location is accessible to drop baggage. Frau Rist can arrange a parking place if needed. We highly recommend this beautiful and very tasteful apartment

Nice and quiet - Pfeiffergässle is away from the very busy touristic streets but still close. The host Eric was extremely helpful in all matters - thank you this was a great pleasure.

Schöne Wohnung in Zentraler Lage

Super Lage in der Innenstadt. Fussläufig kann alles erreicht werden. Trotzdem sollte man daran denken, dass man nur zum ausladen vor dem Haus parkieren darf. Das Auto muss ausserhalb abgestellt werden. Die Kücheneinrichtung ist komplett und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, sogar Kaffeekapseln waren vorhanden.

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung & ein superfreundlicher Gastgeber

Herr Rist ist superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung (Erdgeschoss) war sehr sauber und wir konnten sie bereits vor der vereinbarten Zeit beziehen. Es fehlt an nichts! Das Pub gegenüber stört gar nicht, ab 23 Uhr ist es in der Altstadt allgemein sehr ruhig. In der Nähe hat es super Restaurants, die Shoppingstrasse ist nahe und der Weg zum Weihnachtsmarkt ist sehr kurz. Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr gut gelegen. Alles in Allem: eine 10! für Herr Rist und die Wohnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das ist kein Mangel, nur eine Empfehlung: Ein Aschenbecher draussen wäre hilfreich.

Perfektes Feriendomizil für einen Bodenseeurlaub!

Apartments in einem sehr liebe- und geschmackvoll renovierten zentral gelegenen Altstadthaus auf der Insel Lindau. Sehr hochwertig, gemütlich und auch stylisch eingerichtet mit umfassender Ausstattung. Nette und unkomplizierte Betreuung durch die Gastgeber.

Für kurzen Aufenthalt ideale Location

Leicht zu finden , sehr netter Gastgeber. Erdgeschoss Wohnung direkt zur Straße mitten im Leben von der Insel , Lokale gleich gegenüber. Modern und ästhetisch sehr schön mit Wohnzimmer/Küchenteil geräumig genug für vier Personen.

Wenig Platz in den Schlafzimmern für die eigenen Sachen und schlechtes Licht. War nur eine halbe Rolle Toilettenpapier im Bad. Wenn man (zu viert) am Abend erst ankommt nicht optimal. Seife usw. selber mitnehmen.

Spitzenmäßig!

Besonders gut hat mir neben dem traditionell gehaltenen und denkmalgeschützten Zimmer bzw. Haus auch die Lage, unweit des Hafens bzw. Bahnhofs, welche fußläufig in etwa 5 Minuten erreichbar sind. Zudem sind die Vermieter Frau und Herr Rist super nett und freundlich. Hier hab ich mich rundum sehr wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank!

Die Abstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder bzw. E-Bikes ist zwar durchaus gegeben, hält sich aber besonders dann in Grenzen, wenn auch andere Hausgäste ihre Zweiräder mitbringen. Vor der Tür ist das Abstellen von Zweirädern nicht gestattet. Auch PKW-Stellplätze können hier aus lagetechnischen Gründen, zentral auf der Insel, nicht angeboten werden.

Man sollte bei Anreise den Gästen vorab schon mitteilen, dass das Auto ca. 2 km entfernt auf einem Parkplatz (7€) am Tag abgestellt werden muss. Nur zum Be-und Entladen kurz vor dem Haus darf man parken.

Mit Liebe zum Detail stilvoll nächtigen

- Sehr! geschmackvolle Einrichtung - Perfekte & trotzdem sehr ruhige Lage auf der Insel (unser Apartment lag im 3. OG mit kleiner Terrasse) ... dadurch auch eine willkommene Abgeschiedenheit … die allerdings NUR über Treppen erreicht wird (siehe unten) … und nicht für Leute geeignet, die mit dem Auto bis vor die Unterkunft fahren möchten - viele nette Ausgeh-Optionen in direkter Umgebung (Bäckerei, Cafés, Restaurants) : die Altstadt-Idylle beginnt quasi direkt vor def Tür!

- die Unterkunft ist (da Altbau) tw. hellhörig… man ist vom rücksichtsvollen Verhalten der angrenzenden Gäste abhängig… gut zu wissen, wenn man besonders geräuschempfindlich ist - unser Apartment im 3. OG war nur über (etwas) steilere Treppen zu erreichen… hat uns nicht gestört… sollte man aber wissen (für den Gepäck-Transport etc.) - unser Fernseher liess sich nicht anschalten... wir sind technisch nicht unversiert - wenn überhaupt… 1/2 Toilettenpapierrolle fanden wir etwas kleinlich ... fiel uns bei der Schlüsselübergabe nicht sofort auf… wir denken aber, dass es keine Absicht war (wir haben die letzten beiden Punkte beim Gastgeber nicht nachträglich angesprochen... wussten, dass er übers WE selbst unterwegs war… vermutlich hätte er Abhilfe geschaffen
