If you value your health, AVOID!!!!

Avoid at all costs — terrible experience.

First of all, you’re required to pay a £100 damages/smoking deposit via bank transfer, and the stay itself is paid through Booking.com (DO NOT PAY VIA BANK TRANSFER). I’ve already requested a refund through booking. When we arrived, the entire corridor smelled strongly of weed. In the apartment, the balcony door had been left open because the living room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the blinds were damaged. The worst part came in the middle of the night. My girlfriend woke me up saying she was getting bitten. When we turned the light on, we found bed bugs crawling around the bed. At 2 a.m., we immediately left the property and contacted Booking.com to report everything.

Refund ofsecurity deposit

Central and the apartment was reasona bly clean and spacious

It was stressful to get access to the apartment. When I arrived there, I had to ring and was contacted on WhattsApp and a security deposit was demanded before access ouuld be granted. Eventually, after having paid (it felt like being extorted) a security deposit of €125, I was given the access code via WhattsApp.At the time, I didn't give my IBAN to facilitate return of the security deposit because, I had genuine concerns that I was being scammed. I left the apartment in clean condition. During the following week, I sent my IBAN and asked for return of my deposit. I still haven't received my deposit or a reason for non refund despite requesting either. The property itself was reasonably good but the issue around the deposit spoiled my experience and I would caution against staying there because of it. Would it be possible for booking.com to intervene in relation to refund of the deposit please?

Avoid

Nothing, wouldn't let us get in for 4 hours after check-in, dirty, fire alarms hanging out the roof, patio doors smashed and wouldn't close or lock and had an adjoining balcony to the next apartment. Rooms disgusting, bathroom smashed to bits, dishwasher disgusting and smelled, cooker smashed to bits. Had to find alternative accomodation do not go there at all!

Disgusting apartment I’ve been all over the world and this is the worst place I’ve stayed in. It smelt of smoke and the room was smashed to bits and on the last day realised the mattress was upside down so turned it round to find it dirty and found bed bugs. On top of this they ask for £100 😂 a room like this shouldn’t have a deposit and if it does it shouldn’t be through a WhatsApp message asking for bank details very shady way of doing things. DO NOT STAY HERE

To be asked to pay £100 security bond [ not previously mentioned ] 24 hours before we arrived. which has still not been returned to us When we did arrive at the property a long and protracted telephone conversation in a busy corridor was necessary to obtain key codes to open the key box to enter the apartment.

There was nothing good. We are a family with a toddler. Smoke and vomit smell everywhere, floor was dirty and smelly, toilet seat has come off. Next room people kept going out and coming back in till 4.30am with loud noises. We couldnt sleep. So we booked another place for the second day and checked out early after the first night. Had to carry bags to the 4th floor, no lift available. No parking as well to unload, had to carry luggages across the road.

This property was run down and was not clean at all. Dirty marks on walls, greasy marks on kitchen area walls, dust around skirting and picture frames, grime around corners of shower, broken shower head, rips on chair and sofa, really dirty remote control, door handle on front door was loose. In addition, there was an overwhelming smell of cannabis in the front corridor when we arrived (which I reported) and one bedroom smelled like tobacco (a smell which seemed to come from downstairs). No toilet roll provided. I reported this when we arrived, but none was brought to the apartment at any point. The carpeting in the corridors in the flat and outside the flat were the dirtiest I have ever seen anywhere. This place was horrible.

The standards of the accommodation was very poor! From broken blinds, dirty apartment, next to no cutlery including crockery. The smell of weed constant. Bed was hardly made and uncomfortable with shocking pillows. Dirty bathroom, kitchen and living space! It was certainly not a dream apartment!

The location

Initially bring told I had to send id and £100 before I could even get the code for access..The appointment was not clean at all, the noise from the neighbours was ridiculous that my partner was unable to sleep..when the same noise was starting the next evening I made contact with the company who ignored my message..we had to sleep in the living room due to the noise, the sofa bed was broken and disgusting, therefore we had to bring in the mattress to sleep on...will never be back or recommend dream apartments

Location is great for vising Queens Uni. Plenty of great places for food and drink on Lisburn Road. Belfast is a great city. Had to wait for the hosts to contact us, before we could pay a deposit via bank transfer, so they would release the key code for the door and key collection. Contact wasn't made until after our check in time.

When we arrived at the apartment at first glance the apartment appeared great. However, during our stay, it was evident that this was not the case. As our hosts Beehosting of Dream Apartments are aware we’ve had numerous issues with our most recent booking. Including, but not limited to: We requested an additional bed at a cost of £25. The extra bed was not fit for purpose. There were at least 7 springs missing from the ‘bed’. It was incredibly small and the mattress was not suitable. The bed is not suitable at all for an adult. We requested a refund for the bed and asked for it to be collected as we would not be able to use it. This never happened. The response from beehosting was simply “We are so sorry to hear that and just sent your comments to our manager team”. We then tried to watch TV, however there was no remote control, so no way of turning the TV on. We contacted beehosting again to ask where it would be, or if they could provide a replacement, and we did not receive a response. We were pleased to see that the apartment had a small balcony. However this pleasure soon disappeared when we discovered that the flat was not secure because the patio doors do not lock. We requested that they send someone from maintenance to look at the issue. However, we received no response. By lunchtime of our second day we had filled the dishwasher - with the limited amount of plates, cutlery and crockery provided. However when we came to turn it on, we discovered it did not work. We downloaded the operating instructions for the appliance, but still had no success. Again we contacted beehosting and they did not respond. The stove was damaged, I’m not sure it was safe to use. There were damp/sticky patches in the lounge carpet. We have no idea what they were, but not pleasant to walk through. There are numerous errors in the listing with many items listed just not in the flat or broken. We have requested our £25 refund numerous times, without success.

Stayed here before every other time was great however this time the apartment smelt of smoke, the coffee table, curtains rails, tv, and frames in the hotel were all damaged. The washing machine was covered in food and the kitchen looked uncleaned. No kitchenroll, washing up liquid, ect was supplied with the full kitchen

Please avoid at all costs, I wish I had have read the reviews properly. To check in, you must call their reception to gain the access code. After 2 1/2 hours of calling, there was still no answer so I had to book alternative accommodation last minute to ensure I had a place to stay. Then at 11.30pm that night, they emailed me through the details on how to check in. Within this message, they ask you to bank transfer £100 deposit first. Many reviews have stated how hard this deposit is to get back. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Other people were also trying to gain access without any luck. Wish I had have read the reviews on this as it seems to be a common problem.

On arrival the apartment smelt of staleness, doors were closed, cleaning had not been completed and vacuuming clearly not done. Toilet seat was held on by one screw and unable to contact the hosts. Appalling and I have contacted the hosts once I have left and still waiting for a response.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed and the staff were unhelpful

The property was worn, smelt of stale smoke, the smoke alarms were disconnected, there was no tea towel or anything to dry the washing up, the bed was uncomfortable, the ‘toiletries’ was a bit of liquid soap, no shampoo, there were horrible stains on the carpet and so on and so on.

Deposit not being paid back and lack of curtains in the bedroom.

The apartment was okay. It was clean and within walking distance of most places, which I enjoyed.

I did not like the fact that I had to pay a deposit and then be told I would get it back 3 days after my stay, only for a month to go by and still nothing and don't bother emailing them they won't respond. So, don't stay here unless you're willing to lose £100. Also, I did not like that the doors were on hindges, so they did not stay open and also the fact that the bedroom did not have curtains. I had to make curtains out of the throw blanket on the bed. Also there was quite a bit of damage on the walls, and certain arears really needed some paint.

Lisburn road apartments are perfect for a short stay

The location was excellent. The rooms were big and spacious. After reading some reviews I was a bit worried but we realised there were two locations in Belfast. We stayed in the Lisburn Road and it was perfect. Deposit was returned in full the day after we left. To avoid any hassle with check in I was in contact with reception a few days before and paid the deposit and gave proof of ID in advance. We received the codes via email the morning of check-in there was no problem at all with check in.

Unfortunately we had booked 2 penthouse apartments but due to maintenance we were temporarily given a 2 bed. That day I found out they had resold the penthouse. I am waiting on a partial refund for this. However the rooms were pretty much the same( just no balcony). Another thing I would reccomend is to have full length mirrors in each bedroom as some of our group had these and some didn't. This made it awkward ro get ready.

Tv was there but a remote supplied from another brand of tv but no Ariel cable so the remote wouldn’t have made much difference, had the worst smell of smoke throughout the entire apartment. Apartment in a poor state of repair broken blinds throughout and stains on pretty much all walls and ceilings.

Great accomadation just needs more attention

Good location cheap price and return of deposit quickly.

No blind in bedroom or curtain so was woke at the crack of dawn in the mornings. Clean but not spotless other people’s hairs in bathroom on arrival and bathroom heater didn’t work. Curtain in sitting room kitchen area broken on arrival also and looking out the door loads of rubbish and seagulls and birds eating it. Checking in is a disaster through email I checked in online and received a call at 10pm at night asking if I had arrived which I had hours beforehand. Previously stayed in the other dream apartments in Belfast and is much better taken care of and reception at desk for help with anything. Also only very minimal on street parking.

Great place but not cleaned before check in

Good location, plenty of space

Check in process is a nightmare. Get given a number to call but nobody answers. They will call you but you don’t get the codes to get in till you send £100 damage deposit by bank transfer. Difficult when you are stood in the middle of the street this could be done day before travel to speed up the process. The property had definitely NOT been cleaned so asking for a deposit is a bit cheeky. Towels had someone’s eyelashes stuck on them. Shower and screen was filthy with black mould. Whole place reeked of smoke so much my luggage stunk when I got out of there. Fridge had blobs of mould everywhere. TV but 3 remotes and none of them worked so couldn’t watch anything in the evening. Really lets it down as cleanliness is not much to ask for. Great place otherwise just depends if you’re happy to stay in a dirty place. We only slept there as out all day and only paid £65 per night

LIARS AND UNSAFE

That the apartment is on the Lisburn Road.

I don't like the lies we were served upon booking or anything about this place. It's such a shame as I feel the display room for everyone to see looks really nice (but how dare you show that and then give us these rooms that are nothing like it!) this actually could have been a great place but it's very clear your clientele are young people who like to party! My partner and I were here to celebrate our anniversary and attend a wedding, it would have been nice to have some down time with the streaming services like Netflix but unfortunately this wasn't an option. There are absolutely NO smoke alarms in the place which is HIGHLY ILLEGAL! The table in the living room has nails sticking out of it, they have clearly not been hammered in and they caught my dress twice/scraped my leg! I don't know how many people have been lied to by these guys but I can guarantee you the jig is up, word of mouth alone will destroy you and karma is real my friends! Also the fact yous even allow kids to stay here is a disgrace!!!!!! Also the bed is so uncomfortable it wakes you up all night. Just do yourselves a favour and pay a bit extra for an actually decent and safe place.

Traumatic

Absolutely nothing

There was drug addicts in the communal areas in the middle of the day and tried to break into our room and offered to sell us drugs. Two men flighting all night and woke up with a baseball bat outside our room and a room next to us that was covered in blood that could be seen into from the Main Street. Cleaners did not seem shocked by this. I can forgive the run down decor and lack of cleanliness but I am originally from Belfast and never in a holiday accommodation have I felt so afraid. This place is very dangerous and needs to be removed from booking.con
