I'll be back again

An excellent hostel. It has a shower in the room (6 beds), and the room is locked with an electronic key (more secure for your belongings). The kitchen is large and spacious with everything you need. Unlike the similar Backpackers Instant Sleep hostel, located 2 km away, it has more space for leisure activities, including a pool table 🎱. But this hostel feels more comfortable and safe. Having worked in hotels and hostels myself, I understand that comfort is in the little things, especially at this price.

Location, staff was amazing ( I asked for bottom bed and they happily arranged ) even though first come first serve policy also private lockers with a key really helpful

Everything was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Price was very good for the service provided.

No towel provided for shower but easily bought one for cheap at a nearby store, fair enough to not include towels when offering such cheap stays.

A perfect Wacken go between

I’m Australian and I’ve gone to Wacken open air festival for the last two years- THIS is the hostel you want to be at if you stop over at Hamburg for Wacken. It’s in an excellent location right near the Reeperbahn- about 7 minutes walk from Night Light, Lunatics, the Gun club, and many other fantastic metal spots, while still feeling quite safe and secluded. It has a cool little bar where you can grab a drink, a big well equipped kitchen, and really kind people working there. The rooms are comfortable. Upon return from the festival, the owner had set up a “boot cleaning station” at the door. When she saw how muddy mine were, she made me my own personal boot cleaning station. The people are just generally very kind and hospitable here. I have come here two years in a row, and you’d best believe if I’m lucky enough to return to Wacken, I’ll be booking to stay here.

Amazing hostel! The location is incredible — right in the heart of St. Pauli, with plenty of cool spots, bars, and local life just around the corner. Still, it’s super calm and quiet at night, which made it perfect for resting. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The vibe is relaxed, and the staff were kind and helpful. I’d definitely come back!

I really enjoyed most of it! For the money it's worth it. You pay for a bed, locker, clean bathrooms and even a kitchen. Great location, nice people working there, there's not much I can complain about.

The bed did a sound for every movement I did, which could've annoyed the one sleeping on the bed under me, but I tried my best to be as quiet as possible.

The bed was creaking loudly even doing subtle movements. Room very hot and AC or fan. If you have the bed close the window, nice, otherwise will be boiling.

Dirty and no toilet paper, good location

Nice location, big lockers

Very dirty bathroom, the shower head could not be hung on the wall so you had to hold it continuously while showering. The shower drain was also clogged so I had to shower in a large layer of water from the guests that showered before me. The toilet paper was already gone when we returned to the hostel at 12 o'clock in the evening, while there were only 3 guests in the room. Several slats were missing from the beds, and there were very few electrical outlets. The location itself was nice though, and there was enough storage space.
