internet is not the best and in the current climate, you can’t have a property without internet also, we weren’t notified about the non availability of the tennis court and it was all fully arranged for wedding planning.. I doubt that we can ever get a chance to use it with kids

Everything from arrival to departure was amazing. The owners were so helpful and the accommodation booklet was very informative. The grounds were beautifully kept and there were thoughtful touches to make you feel very welcome. There was a well stocked games room and a fabulous outdoor heated pool.

There is absolutely nothing I can think of that we did not like about the stay.

Overall the location and property was good, but the mattresses need replacing as very uncomfortable.

the master bed was uncomfortable, and having moved into the spare bedroom, one of the beds had a bedspring protruding out of the mattress.

The owners were very friendly. The garderns and outside space was beautiful, the pool was lovely and warm the first day we arrived but then was cold on our next dip before we left?

We met some other guests who said they had a welcome pack but we didn't receive one? The advertised Bar and pizza restaurant mentioned in the advert was not open as we were told there was not enough people staying during our week long visit which was a disappointment as this was one of the reasons we chose this stay - would be worth noting in the advert so people are aware. The double bed mattress didn't give enough support, the Duvet was lumpy and the pillows were tired. The heating wasn't great despite our request to have it turned up. We found hair ties and a dogs toy under the couch and a large pin looked like it was from a wedding on the floor luckily found before our dog stepped on it.

An incredibly beautiful place in a stunning area. Quiet, well kept, a perfect getaway for families.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The property is even more beautiful in real life than what comes across in the photos. Everyting is really clean and well kept, the property is very spacious and they thought about all the small things that guests might need. The swimming pool is amazing. The bbq area and fire pit are a nice touch.

We had a few issues with the hot water but it resolved itself.

Beautiful, tranquil and exactly what we wanted. A home away from home. The facilities are fantastic. we could not have asked for any more. We will be back. An entire room stocked with beach games, buckets and spades, body boards to name but a few for guests to borrow and return on a trust basis. We have a blast Body boarding in Bude. The swimming pool was spotless and perfectly heated with plenty of floats, inflatables and pool paraphernalia to be used by all.

The internet was slow for work and streaming, however, it just meant that i had to take a little more time and not rush, rush, rush.

A peaceful stay in the countryside but a few details could have made it better.

The location and Gardens were good considering it was winter time during our stay. The games room was a good addition for the kids to play in.

The WiFi didn't work when we first arrived and even after it was fixed still didn't work well. The hosts left and went on holiday half way through our stay so felt slightly abandoned and we didn't get offered a linen/towel change before they departed as we had a 2 week stay. We didn't receive a doggy bag for our pet which the children were disappointed about.

The hot water switched off at about 11pm, then it was very cold. No chopping board. Exit time precisely at 10am including a knock on the door.

lovely grounds and facilities. the cottage was cosy and spacious.

There were no oven or grill trays. the fan in the bathroom was in need of a big clean as it was gathered with thick dust. Throw cushions covers should perhaps be washed regularly as they had an odd smell. New light bulbs were needed in the main bedroom. It specified on the website that £25 is to be paid for the dog, which we thought was reasonable. it stated that the dog would receive a box with treats, poo bag and a ball. I had to ask for this, yet didn’t receive the full contents specified. I still paid the £25 on check out. Issues we raised such as trays, and bulbs were rectified quickly which was appreciated. It would be handy to have a mop and bucket in the property to go with the brush and vacuum. during winter months it can get messy. Also an entrance door mat would have been helpful to wipe feet.

Lovely grounds, the dog walk was a nice touch. Relatively easy to find.

It was absolutely freezing cold, and I was staying with my 78 Yr old father so he didn't enjoy it sadly Also, booking.com ad says there may be a charge for dogs, which actually turns out to be £25/dog/stay as a definite, but by then I couldn't have the stay refunded to find somewhere else. I wouldn't have booked it knowing there was an extra £50 to pay, so that left a sour taste

Great week away from everything in very comfortable and well-provided accomodation.

Location: in the small/quiet village of Bridgerule (EX22 7EW), 10 minute drive from Bude, 15 minutes to the beaches. 30-40 minutes from Boscastle and Tintagel. Bridgerule has its own a pub, but it does not serve food. Wi-Fi – fast enough for us to do online Zoom video calls or watch a Netflix film or via our laptop (with own HDMI lead). Cottage: underfloor heating makes it warm! Comfortable beds. Powerful shower. Well furnished kitchen with (small) dishwasher. On-site small laundrette takes £2 to run a wash. Games room has free pool table & table football. Proper tennis court with its own racquets & balls. Outside pool is heated; depth 1.35m. Owners: friendly & helpful. We loved it!

Superb

The owners are fantastic hosts, they make a great effort on the nights they serve food and have their bar open with a great selection of drinks. The cottages are perfectly equipped, spacious and clean. The grounds are fantastic, heated pool, great tennis court and loads of space for kids and dog to run around.
