Charming Quirky Chalet

Charming, quirky Chalet with breathtaking views. This is so worth a visit. Conal made us so welcome, communicated with us every step of the way and provided everything you could need for a few days away. If you are looking for a peaceful, pretty, off the grid location, this is a rare gem. Alfie, our doodle, had a ball.

Secluded, quiet and quaint.

Loved the rustic feel to the cottage, everything you need is available. Check in was smooth and effortless. A bottle of red wine on arrival was lovely touch. Our dogs absolutely loved running around and exploring.

A little muddy on the entrance path, but we did stay over a rainy weekend. Make sure to pack your wellies or boots, and extra towels to clean muddy paws.

Beauty in Nature.

The house is in a remote part of a beautiful piece of nature. The house was just so comfortable and I mean the views from those windows are to die for. I actually don't think there was anything we didn't like. I also really enjoyed seeing my girls having fun and playing outside in all the greenery and lake. Instead of inside watching this or playing that. The house is full of homeliness that makes you feel at ease and cosy all round. Watching tele in bed, or outside on the beautiful decking underneath the stars. We were even greeted with a friendly card and chalkboard sign, made to feel comfortable from the start. And the host of the chalet is one of the most helpful, understanding, and easy to communicate with. Made sure we knew if we needed anything just to contact him, and like I said greeted with friendliness. I really advise anyone to try this beautiful chalet, to say its good for the soul is an understatement. We really didn't want to leave 😊 Thankyou so much for having us.

Again, there really wasn't anything we didn't like. There is even a bath, we haven't t had a bath for a while as we rent with a shower room. So I mean come on 😊

We enjoyed a week at this charming hidden gem enclosed by mature trees with a gorgeous lake view. The kitchen is well equipped , there are also games and interesting books available. Our dog enjoyed roaming around as the place is fenced. Conal is an approachable and attentive owner.

No access to the lake for swimming but there is a nice beach within a 10 min drive

Relaxing Stay

Had a fantastic few nights during the week for a relaxing getaway and this was the perfect spot. The Chalet is spotless and is a little hideaway in the woods with fantastic views over lower Lough Erne. The peace & quiet is second to none, lovely to watch the birds and enjoy spectacular sunsets over the lake. Fully equipped and has everything you need, is lovely and warm and we found the Chalet very cosy and homely with quirky memorabilia which added to the charm of the place. Conal was a fantastic host and left us to it but was always very easy to reach and helpful if needed. Lovely bottle of wine was left for us which went down well after a day of exploring. Gestures like this made our stay more personal and made us feel looked after. Thanks Conal definitely will be back!

Lovely little place

Loved the jukebox. Comfortable mattress. Thoughtful touches all around the place. Very obviously a host wanting to cater for every need of the guest. Allowing our dog was the reason we booked.

A couple of minor things that we raised directly with the host. He said he will look into them and I believe he will because he is a great host. But as I said, minor.

Little piece of heaven

Everything! Erinona Chalet exceeded our expectations. The views were absolutely breathtaking. As soon as we turned the corner on the lane we instantly felt relaxed. So peaceful and serene. Great location and convenient to lots of local attractions.

The only down side was that we didn't book to stay for longer.
