Wonderful farm/wildlife stay

Great for a spot to sleep and have a nice cup of tea in the morning while watching some zebras and springboks. The hosts were also so super helpful, we were there for a wedding and so I asked for an iron for our clothes and she gave us one (and a board). Also adorable and friendly cats wandering around. We loved it there and if we want to stay in the area again, will go back right there. (Also nice to watch birds and we saw a lovely Waterbuck family in the afternoon!)

Very lovely and calm place within a beautiful area.

We loved the wine farm and the location of the place. Wonderful views from the terrace and lovely outdoors. The place was very clean and the staff really friendly. We arrived earlier and there was no problem if we put our suitcases already.

The only thing we missed was someway to cool down. It can get quite warm and the place has no pool or airconditioning. It was windy, so we could enjoy some winds at the terrace.

Cozy place to wind down after wine tasting

This place is super cute and in a great location. The animals come very close to the property and you are close to surrounding wineries and Stellenbosch. They also have lots of different recommendations on where to go.

The apartment gets quite cold and the internet was poor.

What a Gem!!

Stunning setting located just a stones throw away from city centre. Neat, tidy and feels like home... you don't want to leave! Very friendly, went over and above to accommodate us and Finley is a most gracious host, who ensures you are all settled.

Super choice as base for visiting the Cape Winelands

Wonderful farm location with a spectacular view including various animals roaming in front of the terrace. The bed was very comfortable and, with the quiet nights, we slept exceptionally well. We enjoyed daily walks around the vineyards with very nice views towards table mountain as one gets to the top of the vineyards. The kitchenette is small but functional, once we figured out how to make good use of the hot air cooker. There is a good sized fridge and everything one needs for cooking tea and coffee. We felt very comfortable sitting out on the terrace just enjoying the quiet and great view. The location in the Remhoogte Wine Estate is very convenient to Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschoek. We also used it as a base for shorter trips down to Elgin and Bot River, as well as up to Paternoster. Although the apartment is a part of a larger family home with animals and kids, we were given absolute privacy and were never bothered by the activities in the other parts of the home. All in all, a wonderful stay.

A bit more room for the kitchen would have been appreciated, but we managed quite well even with the close quarters. We never needed to eat indoors, so could enjoy all meals on the protected terrace.

Amazing experience! I would even say that its the best place I've stayed outside cities. Wineyards, nature, animals - extremely beautiful and peaceful. Host created scenic and dreamlike space for living and guests, i wish i will have such place for living in my older years ☺️ Apartment itself was clean and comfortable, no doubts. Definitely recommend this one if you're lucky to find it available 😉

A stunning location with wild animals

We loved watching the Zebra, wildebeest, springbok and nyala as well as all the birds from our large balcony. We could sleep with our curtains open and see the animals up close from our verandah. No one bothered us there so we had the place to ourselves very private.

The view of the meadow with wild life is amazing and we were also pleasantly surprised with the electric blanket (it was a bit cold during our stay).

We would have liked the wine tasting, but it happened to be reserved for a private group on that day. Can happen, no problem.
