Disastrous host that tries to charge extra

Well maintained apartment.

Apartment is very cold. The host tried charging 250 eur for bed linens after our stay because they were dirty (they weren’t). The host tried to charge extra for bed linens, towels and cleaning outside of booking.com

Good stay in St Malo! Potential for improvement

Marina was really friendly and supportive. Appartment is fit for purpose for a family stay (2 adults and 2 children)

A bit expensive for a couple. Far away from the city centre. Heating system not properly working. Could be way better decorated and more comfy. A bit austere. Towels and bed sheets fee not included in the initial price. Bad quality of towels after having payed the fee.

It is a sweet apartment.

We did not like the fact that only one toilet paper was left for a six-day long stay. When we asked for more (not as many as to cover whole six days) we were reminded that it was not a hotel. We did not appreciate this answer. As experienced travelers, we know the difference. We also know that leaving only one toilet paper is a shame. Also, there is a dishwasher but no detergent.

The apartment was very clean and beds we super comfy! It's a nice quiet neighborhood, close enough to center to either drive or take a little walk. All in all, pretty good value for money

An extra fee is needed for sheets/towels and cleaning, which we didn't realise when we first booked. Otherwise, no complaints!

Fanstastic value for money, quiet location with good transport links.

The shower head wasn’t attached properly which make showering difficult especially the children. Gaps in the outside railing was easy for the children to to lose toys when playing. (Gentleman in property below was more than happy to chuck back up and very friendly about it all.)

Nice comfortable apartment for family. Close to the beach, but not beach in the old centre.

Strange information about final price. We did the booking of apartment (something about 62 EUR/night) and after that the owner asked if we want have towels for surcharge, bed linen for surcharge, final cleaning for surcharge. The difference for our family (2+2) would be 80 EUR a night. We spend 9 nights around France in different cities, but just here we got this price surprise.
