Superb

The room was very comfortable and clean. The pansion is located outside the town and it was lovely and quiet and we slept very well. We arrived after 3pm and did the self check-in at the machine which was very quick and efficient! The lady at the reception during the chech out was nice and helpful. The place was perfect for our needs and met our expectations. There is a coffee machine in the lobby (€1.50 for a coffee) and the coffee is good.

We would have preferred a room with a view but I imagine they were already occupied and it wasn't that important. The menu was only in German.

Overall, it was okay for a quick stop!

They have a sled check in system that was seamless. The rooms were clean and the view is amazing!

The wifi was very slow and there are no amenities like a kettle in the room. It’s a very basic room.

The room was clean and good enough, the view is gorgeous, you can see the mountains, it’s very quiet and relaxing.

There’s no body in front desk to ask some questions about transportation, if you don’t have a car, it’s a problem… public transportation is not available. Taxis only are available by booking by phone, but there’s no body to help. There is no food in there, you have to walk to an other hotel to find a restaurant.

Room and facilities are perfect. You can have breakfast at a nearby hotel. Only thing which I did not understand was late check-in information. We were in a hurry cycling in rain and storms to get there on time and still did not meet the time given in info email. But we did the check-in in automat and there was no fee for late arrival.

It’s easy and cheap. Good value for your money. For a spontaneous stay just perfect.

As I am very tall, such small rooms and beds can be a bit uncomfortable. Additionally the walls are thin. We were able to hear the people speaking in our neighbor room.

Perfect for one night stay, until the first bell ringing. Also there was a fridge in the hallway.

The beds were very uncomfortable, as the 3 of us agreed. Then, AT 6 IN THE MORNING ON SUNDAY, the bellman hung himself at the toll rope. The house is next to a church, and they started to exorcise everyone in the area. About 40 hits and then more and more. If God only would see or hear this blasphemy!

Pleasant pension in good location

Clean and comfortable room in a big old Alpine-style pension a few mins drive from the attractive town of Villach, with breakfast and dining options close by. No frills and just the job for an overnight stop.

Call us old-fashioned but the digital check-in tends to diminish the traditional character of the place. We half-expected lederhosen-clad mein host - and got a machine

we had difficulty with the Wi-Fi and the lady at the reception kindly sorted out

friendly host, comfortable bed with clean linings, comfortable quit room, free internet, private parking in the yard

No soap for washing hands in bathroom; Air ventilation in bathroom is very loud, no option to turn it off when lights are on; Breakfast was starting quit late on the day when I was leaving coz of some big group of tourists to be served in the morning, therefore had to checkout without having any meal

perfect cozy pension

Pension on perfect place - just next to the Maria Gail church. Quiet place with very friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and more than enough for the stay - good price/value ratio. Parking is a little bit small (right in front of the pension), but there is another big parking place only few hundert meters down the street. Highly recommended if you travel to Italy and looking for place to overnight :)

Mr and Mrs Moser are very kind and friendly. I reached late at night and they had put very neat instruction for me yo follow and check in.

Moser Hotel Maria Gail

Great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Lovely views of the garden and mountains from my balcony. A walk in the surrounding area was very pretty and relaxing.

Not the hotel's fault - but I did not have a car so the location was not ideal for me. It cost about €11-€15 (one way) for a taxi into town. (It's a bit of a long walk and the hot weather was a killer for me!!ha ha) Taxi service is good and on time !! Make sure you say Maria Gail when booking as there is a Mosser Hotel in town and this could be confusing for the driver. Thinking ahead about food/snacks as there are NO shops nearby. 🤔

Nice accomodation, friendly hosts

Easy to reach, it has its own parking lot. The room had a beautiful view, it was clean. Comfortable bed with own bathroom and balcony. The hosts were really nice. Breakfast is more than enough and very delicious.
