Ski trip accomodation

The property is beautiful and very spacious. Three ensuite bedrooms. Kids loved it! Enough space to even play hide and seek. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen , all the appliances were in a clean good working order. Very close to all amenities, three minutes walk to CO-OP across the bridge. 45min drive to Glenshee ski resort. The road is absolutely stunning! Beautiful area. I would definitely recommend it!

There are a few things we didn't like: * there is no parking next to the cottage even for loading/unloading. You have to carry your stuff for 200-300m depending on how far down the street you managed to find a space to park. As we were coming for a ski trip we had a lot of skiing gear to carry. * The other thing was that we found the cottage very cold on arrival. It took a few hours to get it warm enough to take the coats off. Especially cold was the downstairs bedroom, there is only one small radiator under the window sill which struggles to warm the spacious room up. * There is a wood burner available in the lounge if you are comfortable with the warming-the-chimney-up process. We have no experience in doing it and didn't want to end up with the house full of smoke , so didn't get to use it.

Excellent accommodation in Alyth

A delightful spacious house centrally located in the welcoming town of Alyth, ideal for exploring Perthshire. Everything was spotlessly clean, the kitchen well equipped and the beds very comfortable. We looked forward to returning to this home from home after a day out.

Fantastic sparkling clean, cozy accommodation with loads of room, and a very well appointed kitchen. Exceedingly helpful owner, who supplied the extra bits needed for a 4 month old baby

Challenging getting our car to the front door for unloading and loading in the dark and wet... achieved with care. But it's only a short walk to the main road.

Lovely place in a lovely location.

Everything, it had all the amenities and more. Spacious and clean. Overall it was a hidden gem in a brilliant location. It was a bonus that all the rooms had en suits. All the little details made it a home from home stay.

The parking. We had to park on the main street and carry our luggage and shopping etc up the little yard which wasn't a major issue but slightly less convenient than if we could park directly outside. There was always plenty of parking near by so again it wasn't a major issue, but something to bear in mind if you have young children or are less able bodied.

Booking.com does not do justice to this property. The three bedrooms each have their own complete en suite facilities. There is a large fridge freezer, but no mention of a freezer on Booking.com. Exceptionally well equipped.

It was a perfect stay in a beautiful little village with good facilities.

The property was perfect for our stay. Great location in Alyth, great fish & chip shop and also great food at Munchn. 45 mins from Glenshee ski center. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. Lovely log fire too, helps dry the clothes etc from skiing.

I have no complaints or improvements to recommend. Some folks may like to park closer to the property but i didn't mind carrying bags etc to and from the car, a very short walk up a lane.

Family stay cation

The house was beautiful, clean and tidy, and well looked after,the house had all the equipment necessary for cooking and cleaning. The garden is open and looked after, and a short walk up the lane wasn't steep. Plenty of walks nearby and shops too for groceries.

The bed in the downstairs room wasn't overly comfortable, but the rest of the house made up for that.

the only thing is having to park just down the road, it wasn’t bad only a short walk but that was the only thing.

Fantastic place , just what we were looking for , an immaculate property , detailed information pack in the house giving all the details you could require, lovely and quiet, excellent rural location , very short walk from the road, morning coffee outside sitting on the bench at the front, peace and quiet watching the birds bounce around the plants , bliss.

Lovely cottage in pleasant little town, close to everything we needed

Very comfortable and cosy. Kitchen well-equipped and everything was spotless. Really handy for the local shops and pub and the on-street parking was fine - we never had a problem finding a spot.

Lovely cottage in a quiet central location.

Absolute gem of a cottage, it had everything we needed and more. The ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom is a real bonus and my elderly parents appreciated the bedroom and facilities all on the ground floor. The cottage is in the centre of Alyth, but tucked away in a lovely quiet square. We really enjoyed our short break, even the weather was perfect!

Finding it was very difficult. Leighton Sq not easy to find and no mention of how bad the terrain was for those with restricted mobility (albeit temp).
