What you would expect for the price but there's alot of inexpensive improvements that could be made.

Affordable price with no uneccacery extras. Good if you are just looking for a place to sleep. Quick access to city centre, tourist tram and train station.

Some maintenance issues (things falling off walls, sink that kept blocking, coffee machine doesn't work, etc). Not advertised as accessible but does promote that there is a lift. Unfortunantly, lift was up a set of stairs, which was difficult with a wheelchair! Not much soundproofing and aircon was louder turned off than on. Doors were all electronically locked but didn't feel very secure. Kettle was full of limescale and sits on a low stool. Recycling bins were available but no bins for food or other non-recyclables.

Worst experience of my life

Location, air conditioner in the room, good price.

Staff is non existent, extremely dirty, me and my girlfriend developed rashes on our skin. The bedsheets looked like they were there for 20 years and smelled off - but we had no choice, we needed to stay there as we already spent a lot. I’m a novice traveller, I’ve been to 22 different countries so far and travelled a lot in general, such a thing NEVER happened to me. Sleeping in Piazza della Liberta on the grass looks like a much cleaner option. Immediately after I got home we made an appoinment to the doctor and we disinfected our clothes, bags, everything!!

It was conveniently located and quiet, but slightly weird.

Central location. afforable price

There was noone on site and while the operators attempted to be helpful, I don't speak Italian and they didn't speak much English. I got several text messages in Italian. The room standard is highly variable. Some rooms were comfortable and some were depressing. There was initially confusion about which room I was in. Fortunately I didn't have to stay in the one initially allocated. The second night I was the only occupant and there were 3 other vacant rooms (which was good for shared batthroom access). There was some confusion about the front door access code proceedure (parially their fault and partially mine), but other building occupants would let you in (presumable this is a common problem). This was a two-edged sword because it wasn't great for security. The only person I saw in my time there was an Albanian who had wandered in off the street and seemed to be undocumented. He was looking to rent a room for cash, which he wanted to pay to me, because he had no credit or debit card and didn't understand how to access the internet. Then after I left I got messages (in Italian) that I eventually realised related to 3 euro local tax that was outstanding. Given noone was on site, it was unclear how this was supposed to be paid.

An OK place to overnight in a fabulous city

A short (hilly) walk from the station. Large bedroom and large beds.

The communal space was odd, fridge and empty boxes and washing machine (unconnected). A table and chairs and better lighting (and a sink) would transform this space. We couldn’t work out the TV. Our private bathroom was clean but was a distance from our room so we felt we had to escort our 12 year old daughter there at night.

The apartment was right in the centre of the city, looking onto the river with the castle just behind us. It was a few minutes walk to anywhere. The room was bright and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Terrific. 👍

Short horror story

The only thing that is okay is location, not too far from city center

Omg, everything is falling apart. Not smelling nice, not properly cleaned. Tv not working, internet not working, air conditioning non existent. Since we payed more than 80€ per night in this small room with shared bathroom we expected at least clean space and good wifi. Towels weren’t properly cleaned and no hand soap or wash just little samples that expired found on bed. No glasses at all, no cups. We came tired. There were another people in rooms next to us. Thin walls. People yelling. Window’s can’t be properly closed and since the road is near and people drive fast it’s noisy all the time. We had to close windows and with no air or Air conditioning it was like sauna, and the noise from the street and other people. It was really unbearable

It was spontaneous I just needed a place to stay for the night and it was perfect!

I loved how secure the rooms were! The room was very spacious and clean! I slept all night no problem one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in. I loved the cleanliness of the shower too.

Bad

I’ve never wrote any negative review on the booking but I do it now because I don't want what happened to us with my family to happen to anyone else. We only booked this accommodation only for one night but this place not suitable even for one night. We arrived at late night with my family. The host only sent me the instruction in English only for one of the rooms not both of these. There isn’t any mobile connection just Wifi. The local is terrible the building was dirty and smelly. The key safe was broken and the key was available to everyone, and some else was in our booked apartment. The whole place was loud and isn't safe. We couldn’t stay at this accomodation and we had to looking for another hotel in the middle of the night with kids. I tried to talk to the host and solve this issue but he wasn’t helpful and understanding. We were very disappointed.

It is located very closely to the train station as well as the center, making it easy to reach anything you desire.

There was never any toilet paper in the toilet, which made it impossible for us to use the facilities. The check-in is an absolute nightmare. The staff made a video in order to help you but I was sent the wrong one (to another appartement) and was then treated rudely on the phone when I was confused as to why the codes we were given didn’t work (since we were at the wrong location because of the « fake » video). The place is not very clean.

A scam, don't go.

Basically nothing, the location is ok but it's almost impossible to find parking nearby.

No attendance, dirty bathroom and room. There were food leftovers in the bedside table and the sheets didn't seem clean. The floor was dusty too. Most importantly, there was no mattress. They placed a piece of foam rubber on the bed structure and called it a day. The worst place I've ever been, for the price we payed is a scam. Don't go to this place, they should be sued.

Bad experience

Very low value for your money ! As the room, the "bed" and especially the "bathroom" did not meet the expectations, for the second ( booked ) night we decided to move to Hotel Milano ( 200 mtrs nearby ) obviously to our charge ( surprisingly we got the same fare/room as at the Guerrero ! ) But the main topic is : how Booking.com can offer such low quality structures ?? And it's no longer an isolated case...it is already the third bad experience this year by using booking.com....

Pleasant

The bedroom was very spacious with a comfortable bed. Good location for using the train or bus stations and just a 15 minute walk to the old town.

The bathroom was cramped with very dated facilities. The shower ran out of cold water quite quickly.

The worst experience ever

I didn’t even see the property because I couldn’t check in. The host didn’t provide sufficient instructions on check in and didn’t reply to any message or phone call. We ended up sleeping in a car.

Good place to stay at.

Very well located, didn't meet the staff as key was in a lock but was well described. Lock was a bit difficult to open to get the key. Just wished the place was a bit warmer near the end of september. Otherwise apartment had evthing you need. Recommended.
