Comfortable hotel 5 mins from Trieste main station and 10 mins walk to city centre. Very quiet despite being in a busy location. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff

- Very professional, yet friendly stuff work there (pozdravuji pana Daria!) - clean rooms - good room service - amazing location, 1 minute from the best gelateria in town :)

- I'm sensitive to noise, so top floor of was too noisy because of the loud AC - The hotel itself is a bit older - I didn't mind, but some people might

Incredibly helpful and kind staff. Especially the gentleman at breakfast. It was nice to see him every day. I have only good things to say about this wonderful hotel. Bravo.

Very friendly staff. Early check-in no problem. Good breakfast, Near the train station and at easy walking distance to the centre.

My single room was small, but OK for 1 night. Prepayment.

Within 15/20 minute walk of the rail station and cruise terminal. In a quiet backstreet, there did not seem to be much of interest in the immediate area but lively part with restaurants etc about 10 minutes walk away. Breakfast okay, limited choice but a small hotel, regularly restocked.

Had difficulty finding desite being close, better directions would be a benefit.

Excellent location close to the rail and bus station and a short walk into the center of the city. The hotel was very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel is convenient to the train station and the Roman Theatre and other sites.

The air conditioner did not work and the staff argued it was working because you could hear tit run. The fact was that there was no air blowing out of the register. I tried to so the staff that is was not blowing and they claimed it was because The system was just recharged. The unit did not blow when we turned the heat up. T he blower unit was the issue, but they did not believe me because they heard it. On the 2nd night they offered us a smaller room but the air was not working there either. I even dropped a tissue next to the air vent and it di not move but fell straight down. Had the air been blowing the tissue would have moved away from the air vent. Any yes the fan was turned on the highest setting. They called a technician and I asked that he come to the room to see the issue himself, he checked the central unit and said it was fine and did not stop by the room. I am not sure how this place rates as a 4 Star Hotel.

The room wasn't what I expected, taking into account pictures of Entrance, Lobby and, Breakfast room, they looked as two different hotels.

Perfect one night stay

The staff were so helpful , told us where to go to get the best out of a one night stay . Room and beds although a bit dated very comfortable, good air con and continental breakfast .Great location between the centre and 4 min walk to the station. couldn’t ask for more for the money we paid

There was a smell in the bathroom from the drains in the morning, it might have been due to to the street drain cleaners outside . the smell hadn’t been there when we arrived but hence why we did not score a 10
