The whole place is immaculate. You really could eat off the floor. The owner is very attentive and ready to help with anything you need.

The stairs from the bedroom to the landing really could have benefited from a handrail, especially as the stairs are tiled.

The wide spread of 5pm check in and 10am check out may make it a lesser value than it should be on a single night stay (3pm in with 11 out is more within standard , where 2in and 12out is very liberal but guest very friendly).

B&B was so clean and very well looked after. The owner was very welcoming and very friendly, gave me a good history of the surroundings and where to visit which I found very useful. Communication with the owner was superb and was always there to answer any questions or concerns.

I was very very happy with the host, and he was very mindful and accommodating. The facilities were very clean, even the washroom. The host was very helpful in guiding me around Basel, and I felt comfortable and welcomed.

Small B&B, with frequent and convenient public transport going directly to the city center in less than 10 minutes. Very friendly and helpful host, plenty of space, very clean rooms and a nice breakfast.

The rooms are not very soundproof so it can be quite noisy if other guests are present. Separate bathroom, which might be considered adequate for a B&B at this price.

This place is very beautiful, clean and cozy. Hosts were very nice and helpful. Rooms have everything you might need: towels, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, shower gel. Complimentary water and coffee in are available to guests. Perfect!

Well situated B&B, with frequent and convenient public transport going directly to the city center in less than 10 minutes. We felt like at home with a very friendly welcome, plenty of space, very clean and beautiful rooms and a wonderful breakfast. We do warmly recommend this place.

If you are afraid of steep stairs, avoid the roof top room. It was also a bit noisy at night with open windows.

Vecindario encantador. Fantástica pulcritud

Hermoso vecindario, con mucha vegetación, a pocos minutos del centro de Basilea. Las instalaciones están impecables, con limpieza destacable. Con parada del tranvía 8 en la puerta, la conexión con el centro de la ciudad es muy sencilla(tener en cuenta que al alojarse en cualquier sitio en Basilea, te otorgan una tarjeta que permite usar gratis los medios de transporte; la entregan al hacer el check-in)

Al tener escaleras sin elevador, subir el equipaje implica un esfuerzo. El pago no tiene opciones de cancelación gratuita y se hizo efectivo 2 meses antes de la estadía

Sehr gut und tolle Lage

Der Aufstieg zum Dachzimmer sehr steil und die rote Treppe ist nicht gesichert im oberen Drittel bevor man im Dachzimmer steht.

Kopfschütteln war angesagt!

Die Lage ist sehr zentral aber auch sehr laut. Tram und Verkehr.

Ich hatte das neue Zimmer im obersten Geschoss. Sehr hoch, schön, geschmacksvoll und modern eingerichtet. Aber die Treppe zum und ins Zimmer sind richtig steil. Und eine endet direkt mitten im Zimmer ohne eine Sicherung. Ich hatte Angst nur in die Nähe zu kommen bei Dunkelheit wegen der Unfallgefahr. Die Betten sind relativ hart. Das Bad mit einer Sprudelwanne, übrigens ohne Duschmöglichkeit, mit einem Lavabo und einer Toilette, übrigens gegen die Decke des Zimmers offen,ist ohne einer Lüftung oder Möglichkeit zum Lüften. Das heisst trotz schön eingerichtetem Zimmer - 1 Etagendusche und einem WC. So konnte ich nur abends duschen.

Für mich etwas zu laut, stark befahren Strasse. Durch das ist schlafen mit offenem Fenster nicht wirklich ratsam.

Sehr netter Empfang und super gemütliche Zimmer und Betten. Mit Bus und Tram waren wir schnell in der Stadt.

Eigentlich nur, dass der schöne Holzboden laut knarrt, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit Charme und Liebe zum Detail! 😊

Alles war sehr sauber, und das rote Badezimmer sieht wunderschön aus! Der Boden quietscht ein wenig, aber das gehört zu einem Haus mit so viel Geschichte dazu. Man merkt, dass auf jedes Detail geachtet wird – sogar die Begrüßung erfolgt mit Hausschuhen. Eine wirklich besondere Unterkunft! 😊

Was mir nicht so gut gefallen hat, war der Lärm der anderen Gäste, aber das lässt sich in einer Unterkunft natürlich nicht ganz vermeiden. Ansonsten war alles wunderbar! 😊
