Our sixth visit.

This is my sixth stay here. Thoroughly recommended. The house, which is situated in a quiet village with beautiful surrounding countryside,. is clean, the beds are comfortable, Anita is welcoming, and she is on hand if you have a problem.

WiFi is a bit on the weak side, but it wasn't an issue for us.

Fantastic, cost-effective and rustic stay in the Eifel region during our Nürburgring trip

Exceptional stay in the Eifel region in a traditional, quiet and rustic village. Host is extremely nice and was accommodating to my late arrival at the property (21:00). The facilities at the property were ample, with spare shampoo, deodorant, washing up liquid, hairdryer, fan, and plenty of English and German books and movies. The outdoor terrace was extremely peaceful with a BBQ! With 11 beds and huge pillows, we could take our pick over which one we liked the best. Skylights and shutters to help with excessive heat during our stay. The rainfall shower is amazing- it is better than the one in my own home!

A full-length mirror would have been helpful, there are places closer to the Nürburgring, as this is around 20 minutes drive away, although the drive is along some good roads. The property is equally close to Mayen, lovely for a breakfast stop on the way to Laacher See. I would be very happy to stay at Ferienwohnung Schäfer again during my next trip to the Ring.

In one sentence: It raised the bar. The apartment is gorgeous and clean in a quite village that you can enjoy from your vacation and get relaxed. Anita just prepared a welcome board and some surprise gifts for us before our arrival. Generally everything you want from a house is already there. There are many books and movies in the entertainment room with a lot of reading glasses. Also if you forgot your toothbrush at home, no worries, she already made a new temporary one ready for you on the desk already. Also if you wanna cook something the kitchen with all spices is calling you. Even there is a roof terrace with the barbecue ready.

There are no shops in the village. By the way you can drive in the beautiful roads for around 10 minutes and buy stuff you need

Apartment was massive, loads of space and was furnished lovely. We were left a small bag of choclates and water. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need, the bathroom and shower were great, living room and bedrooms were really nice too. The terrace couldn't be located any better to get the sun. Overall an amazing place to stay.

Superb

Very spacious, clean house with all the possible equipment and private parking for 2 cars. Located in a quite village. Perfect for those who are heading to Nordschleife (The track is 20 minutes away). We will definitely come back when we return to Nurburgring in the future.

Einfach super und genial um die Burgen in der Umgebung zu sichten.

Super nette Begrüßung und willkommensgeschenke. Super Zimmer . Geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Unschlagbares Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Es gab alles was man braucht. Mikrowelle, Pfannen Teller. Sogar Eiswürfel waren im Eiswürfel Fach. Mehrere Burgen in der Umgebung sind innerhalb von 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Gab auch Spuelzeug für meinen Sohn

Man sollte wissen das es im kleinen Dorf selber keinen Supermarkt gibt. Wenn man es vorher weiss aber kein Problem da man sowieso durch das 15 min entfernte Dorf durchkommt, wo der Supermarkt ist. Ansonsten muss man halt die 15 min doppelt fahren.

Zdecydowanie najlepsze miejsce dla rodziny i grupy. Wrócimy n pewno!

Przestronne mieszkanie świetnie wyposażone. Byli tam wszystko, czego możesz potrzebować. Duża ilość naczyń, sztućców i ręczników. Bardzo wygodne łóżka i pachnąca pościel. Całe mieszkanie bardzo czyste i przyjemne. Bardzo spokojna okolica. Naprawdę doskonale wypoczęliśmy po długiej tysiąc kilometrowej podróży. Muszę napisać też o niesamowitych gospodarzach, którzy przyjęli nas bardzo ciepło. Przygotowali tablicę z miłym napisem powitalnym oraz słodką paczuszkę dla każdego z gości. Dzieci były zachwycone. Jesteśmy bardzo wdzięczni :)
