Nice garden, friendly staff but the room is full of ants

Nice garden

The ants are everywhere- in the bed, in the bathroom, on all surfaces. The bed clothes and towels were probably clean but looked dirty, stained, unpleasant to sleep on.

The property's exterior, garden, and swimming pool are well maintained, and it is quiet. The staff was nice.

My room was "okay," but I was expecting more from this kind of place; it wasn't as clean as I anticipated. The staff barely spoke English, which made the conversation difficult and hindered understanding. For instance, for lunch, I was interested in chicken as the main course. I asked about the accompaniments to see if there were vegetables. He understood I wanted vegetables and advised me on another plate, but this one had no chicken. Thankfully, there were eggs for protein.

Great value you for money about $30 AUD a night with breakfast. Fantastic Padi accredited dive centre is attached. Simple rooms with aircon and private bathroom

Honestly you cant go wrong for the price. If you want to go diving this is the place to stay. Rooms could do with tea n coffee facilities. Hot water isnt really available here. You will also need to rent a scooter to get around easily however no issues reception staff will help you.

to me best choice in the area

this is my second review for this place. were so happy that we decided to extend our stay. really only good things to say. great room, nice bathroom, tasty breakfast, nice pool, friendly staff and cutest dog ever. if in a place animals are treated well and with love the energy must be good. certainly the case here. and on top it’s very affordable. stay here didn’t feel like budget. highly recommended.

best value option in the area

Nice, spacious and clean cottages. also cleaned daily. fair prices for diving excursions. small but nice pool. enjoyed also the terrace with the garden view. breakfast a la card as well very nice with big coffee/tea. …in total great value for money and also one of the more economic options in the area. would recommend to stay here and stay again.

wifi in the rooms is quite week, but at the restaurant it’s quite good so I’d say that’s ok.

The restaurant there probably served the best value and freshest food in the area.. very nice pool . Great sunrise view. Nice. Good value for the price...it was very cheap and good

peaceful, beautiful and kind

It was extremely specious and peaceful. The garden was beautiful and it had a nice swimming pool, where you could see the mountains from. The owners were really kind, they were great cooks and they had two lovely dogs. It also had a dive company in their complex where you could get awesome dives for a reasonable price. The stay was perfect!

Location was nice. Had a fab view of the volcano. Very close to the ocean. Perfect if you like diving. Staff seemed nice enough. Dive instructer was awesome.

The room wasn't very clean, stains on the sheets and bugs in the bed. Food was very basic

Superb

Very affordable hotel. Staff were great. Excellent pool on property. Very good breakfast included. They have their own dive shop and restaurant at the resort, but many other options for diving and eating only a 7 minute walk along road to main area to town. We loved our stay, Tulamben is a divers paradise.

Some minor construction on the site right now. Many mall critters (mostly geckos and ants) in the room.

Alles in allem gut.

Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gute Preise in der Tauchschule, aber ich bin mit einem sehr jungen Tauchlehrer getaucht, der wenig Respekt vor der Unterwasserwelt hatte. Z. B. Pflanzen abgerissen, einen Oktopus mit dem Stick versucht aus der Höhle zu bekommen, Zigaretten kippe im Meer entsorgt. Keine Einweisung in das jeweilige Tauchgebiet.

Leider war das Frühstück nicht sonderlich gut. Unreife Banane, abgebranntes Pancake, Ananasshake mit zu großen Stücken und geschmackslos.

Confortable et charmant !

Un endroit parfait si vous recherchez confort, tranquillité, et bon rapport qualité prix. Le personnel est très chaleureux et attentionné, la chambre est très spacieuse et le lit confortable. Le restaurant est très bon et à une vue magnifique sur le mont Agung ! À 10 min à pied de la plage de Tulamben. Piscine et jardin magnifiques.

La douche a un débit très faible

Les hôtes sont adorables, disponibles. La chambre est grande avec grande salle de bain et l’environnement de la guesthouse est superbe très relaxant avec un beau jardin

Seul petit bémol pour se laver les cheveux longs il n’y a pas de pression dans la douche
