Disappointed

The room was clean

Parking was impossible to access we spinned 4 times around the hotel. No reception. Room was freezing. Narrow bed. We asked for baby bed but didn’t get it, we had to put baby between us in a 140 bed. No one was there to ask for the baby crib. It was suppose to be a relaxing experience but boy, what a night it was.

no lift. impossible to get suitcase up without being helped. fake photos of the hotel make you think that it is located in some sort of a beatiful pedestrian zone. NO!! it is located between two busy streets, so noise noise noise!!! noise also comes from the corridor (bad room doors), you hear absolutely everything if anyone passes your door. room very poorly equipped: no electric kettle, etc. room rather small (I had a single room). beware that the location is in immigrant neighborhood. you will need to walk 30 mins or more to reach the wonderful old city of Wetzlar. big risk that someone will be taking for the whole night under your window (this was my case). hotel is located above a food market, which makes you think that it has never meant to be a hotel....

Very clean and comfortable. Fresh bottles of water left in the room each day was a considerate touch. Quiet considering busy location. Very convenient for rail & bus stations which is why we chose this hotel on this trip. Old town 15 min walk along river.

Perhaps a kettle & teabags to make a hot drink in the evening would have been nice.

Very good service even though we arrived late around 2245. Clean and comfortable rooms, we had the attic room so portable AC and fans were provided. I was surprised at the cleanliness and the facilities offered.

for us personally, we didn’t like the location: it is in a very crowded and loud shopping neighbourhood. From the hotel you don’t notice at all there is also an old town nearby. And because of the noise, you can’t sleep with the windows open. But if you like to go shopping, it’s the place to be.

Das Hotel liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig nahe dem Bahnhof und der Schnellstraße. Es gibt einen großen Parkplatz, der für Hotelgäste kostenlos ist. Dazu den Parkschein bitte an der Rezeption vorlegen. Ein Einkaufszentrum mit diversen Möglichkeiten, etwas zu essen, befindet sich direkt gegenüber. Über die Straße ist eine Fußgängerzone mit Geschäften und Restaurants. Im Erdgeschoss des Gebäudes befindet sich ein Supermarkt. Das Hotel befindet sich in den Geschossen darüber. Guter Arbeitsplatz im Zimmer mit LAN/WLAN-Anschluss. Gutes Bett mit neuer Matratze. Alles war sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Die Umgebung ist verkehrsreich, laut und sehr häßllich. Die Zufahrt zum Parkplatz ist nicht ganz einfach, da sie sich im Kreuzungsbereich befindet und sie nur aus einer Richtung erreichbar ist (Kreisel benutzen!). Vielleicht wäre ein größeres Hinweisschild hilfreich. Es gibt keinen Aufzug (was für mich kein Problem ist), für Gäste, die nicht mehr so gut laufen können, allerdings ein Hindernis.

Zimmer waren sauber und die Betten bequem. Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Innenstadt fußläufig gut erreichbar. Trotz direkter Lage an B49 war es im Zimmer angenehm leise.
