Unprofessional manager, otherwise decent hotel in nice location

Location was nice, walking distance from city center. Room was spacious, and we could park on site.

Breakfast was so-so, not a lot of options, but sufficient, I guess. Rooms were dated, the entryway to the parking lot was very narrow. The manager was scolding the staff when we checked out, since they seemed to have made a mistake with another guest's payment, which came across very unprofessional, this should not have been discussed during our checkout, but in private (and the yelling was unnecessary, will not visit this hotel again due to the disrespect the owner/manager displayed to the very welcoming and helpful staff member).

We were visiting Leica and this was a comfortable place to stay with the bonus of walks along the river and explore Old

We always stay here because the location is excellent. It’s walking distance from the train station and walking distance to the Altstadt and everything we want to see and do. Our rooms have always had a small fridge that’s great for stashing leftovers or small water bottles. The staff have always been fantastic. Wetzlar is an overlooked gem and great place to visit.

I didn’t like the time we were on the top floor - too many stairs! So now we ask for a room on a lower floor and it’s just fine.

Peaceful and picturesque

We stayed at Pension Domblick for one night as we drove across Europe, but we would have liked to have stayed longer! The property is situated right by parkland near the river and it is so quiet and peaceful. The town of Wetzlar is gorgeous and there's loads to see and do there and plenty of good restaurants. We didn't have time to go in the swimming pool but it looked wonderful. We slept so well, thanks to the quiet and the comfy bed. Breakfast was buffet style and there was loads of choice and plenty of everything.

The staff was very friendly! They even prepared a packed lunch for everyone who was leaving for a bike ride or hiking trip, which we thought was very thoughtful. Nice, cozy room under the roof, with a nice view.

Super Lage.

Die Lage war sehr gut und sehr ruhig.War alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.Sehr schöne Altstadt mit dem Dom.Das Forum mit vielen Geschäften war in 15 Minuten erreichbar.Wegen der engen Durchfahrt an der Unterkunft fehlt die Angabe das es ein Hintertor gibt.Frühstück war sehr gut.Nur vermisste ich eine Kaffeemaschine für Latte Macchiato .Das Zimmer war mit Kühlschrank,Eßtisch und 2 Sessel und Bett ausgestattet.Ein Kleiderschrank stand extra in einem kleinen Raum.Kostenlos parken.Guter Preis mit Frühstück.

Im Bad war die Dusche neu, aber der Raum sehr klein.Beim duschen geht zuviel Wasser aus der Dusche raus.Deswegen auch Rostflecken am Heizkörper.Eventuell linke Seite noch eine Glastür anbringen.Ein Haken am Waschbecken wäre schön.Eine zweite Nachttischlampe fehlt.Das Regal(Bett) ist zu nah am Eingang.

Freundliches Personal, sehr zentral gelegen, gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, Zimmer waren sauber und hatten alles was man braucht. Wenn wir mal wieder in Wetzlar sind kommen wir gerne wieder

Es gab ein Missverständnis, das ich zu vertreten hatte. Aber das ist für mich kein Grund einen Gast so unfreundlich zu behandeln....Ich bin noch nie so unfreundlich behandelt worden, wie von der Besitzerin der Pension. Im Frühstücksraum hatte es 18 Grad, Angebot sehr dürftig. Überalle Schilder: NIcht das tun, Tür geschlossen halten, unbedingt das und das....insgesamt keine gastfreundliche Atmosphäre Beitzerin meckert deutlich hörbar für mich als Gast mit den Angestellten SChild am Frühstücksraum: Videoüberwachung! Hallo, das geht gar nicht!

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in zentraler, ruhiger Lage.

Zentrale Lage zur Altstadt, demnächst sogar unmittelbar am Lahnradweg und trotzdem sehr ruhig.

Rund um Wetzlar sind zur zeit leider sehr viele Baustellen auf den Radwegen mit Umleitungen.

Die Lage war sehr gut, unsere Räder konnten wir gut unterstellen. Die Altstadt war gut zu erreichen. Sehr gutes Frühstück und sehr nettes Personal.

Gute Lage, einige Dinge verbesserungswürdig

Positiv ist die ruhige Lage und dass man zu Fuß in 5 Minuten die schöne Altstadt von Wetzlar erreichen kann. Gut ist auch, dass es kostenlose Parkpkätze für Pensionsgäste direkt vor der Pension gibt.

Unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss ( Nr. 2) war in Ordnung. Das Bad und die Dusche waren extrem eng und klein, kaum Ablageflächen. Es dauerte sehr lang, bis warmes Wasser kam. Wir konnten uns nicht mit dem Router der Pension verbinden. Zu schwaches Internet ! Beim Frühstück gingen laufend die Brötchen aus. Es wurde zwar nachgefüllt, aber das dauerte. Die Gäste standen ratlos da und suchten Brot und Brötchen. Die nette, junge Dame, die für den Frühstücksservice verantwortlich war, schien überfordert mit der Anzahl der Gäste. Das Frühstücksangebot an sich war ok.

Für Radtouristen geeignet

Im Zimmer gab es eine extra Fläche für das Laden der E-Bike-Akkus. Die Lage der Unterkunft war gut und man konnte die historische Altstadt gut zu Fuß erkunden.

Die Dusche unter der Treppe (schräg) war doch etwas beengt. Der Fahrradraum war etwas knapp. So standen die Fahrräder über Nacht im abgeschlossenen Innenhof.

Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre das Zimmer etwas klein und der Preis etwas teuer.

Personal, Frühstück und Lage der Pension i.O.

Zimmer klein, Komfort ging so, TV nicht ganz klar welche Sender wo und welche, das Internet etwas mühsam. Wasserhahn beim Lavabo liess sich mühsam öffnen und schliessen und dies mit Geräusch. Für die Hotelrechnung ging der Drucker im Moment nicht, diese per Mail angefordert um auch an uns per Mail nachzuschicken.
