Very nice place to stay , good location, staff is wonderful to work with and made the stay very pleasant.

Nice room, wrong parking advice

Check in is easy - clear step-by-step instructions. The room is clean, spacious and in a great location, close to everything.

Despite everything, I trully believe that the guy at the reception when we checked in didn't meant anything bad. But I'm writing this so that something like that won''t happen to anyone else. When we arrived in Trieste, we parked our car in the Port of Trieste- passenger terminal, because the parking garage nearby was full. The guy at the reception suggested that we leave the car where we have it, because even though he could give us a coupon for a 15% discount in another parking garage, it was the cheapest option for parking. He found the mentioned parking (778) on the Easy Park app and showed us how to extend the parking when we wanted. We did that. On the departure day, our car was not there. Why? When large cruise ships arrive, the parking lot simply has to be empty. We did not know that, but we would been glad if we would have been warned. Many thanks to the girl and the guy - the security guards who helped us - they called around to find out where our car was. Above all, thank you for trying to speak English so that we didn't feel even more lost. And in the end? It was not the cheapest parking. We paid 195 € for removing the car from parking and transportation to the other location. 29.40 € for the police, 30 € for the Easy Park parking, 20 € for the taxi which took as to the place where our car was. 274.40 € in total. For parking. The point: at the parking lot - Port of Trieste you park for a short time, no more than a few hours, because you don't know when the cruise ship will arrive and your car will be ... gone.

Great, good location and a pleasant stay

The staff were professional and well organised. Communication was excellent. We liked the location. The room was comfortable. We really didn't have any problems.

We had to present ourselves at one location and then walk to the property. I believe that this is due to Italian law and it wasn't a problem as it was on the way from the train station. You need to use different codes to access the property and retrieve the room key: this is standard, clear instructions were given and we had no problems.

We expected more for the price and given reviews.

Excellent location, both rooms had excellent air conditioning.

I have a few complaints about our stay: (1) the host was supposed to provide us with information how to get into our room the day before we arrived but she contacted us with the information on the day we departed at 10 am when we didn’t have any internet connection, until I got connected to the internet in the nearby cafe I didn’t get the information how to get in and that left us waiting in front of the building for a half an hour; the host carried over all communication with us over WhatsApp; (2) overall our apartment didn’t look as good in real life as it did on the pictures, walls were dirty, main bed was creaky, the mattress had severe indentations and the pillows were very hard; the host didn’t provide bed covers so we had to rely on two small chairs and the second bed when not sleeping; (3) the host provided three glasses and mugs with three spoons but no sponge or detergent to clean any of the cups; (4) there are no closed closets in the apartment, only two open racks with decent mirrors but there was lots of dust on the shelves in the bedroom; (5) all of the doors in our apartment and on the main entrance were creaking loudly and they were a disturbance; (6) we had trouble connecting to the WiFi network provided by the host, with two phones and a laptop trying many times, we succeeded to connect late first night and there were no internet problems after that.

Perfect central location from which to explore Trieste, friendly and helpful host, comfortable beds.

Our host recommended a cafe diagonally across the square for breakfast (with a 10 per cent discount for being one of her customers) but the waiters refused to take our order for some reason (maybe because I mentioned the discount). They were also very busy. We finally left after waiting more than 40 minutes to order breakfast as we had a bus to catch.

The location is perfect. Large garage is very close to the apartments. The lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. The apartment is spacious. The view is great.

There is no kitchen, only coffee and tea makers. But there was no coffee capsules or bags offered. Of course, this is only a tiny issue.

Perfect place, in the center, very close to the main sights. The woman on the reception was very polite and she explained us everything. There is public parking very close to the Locanda Al Volo Tor Bandena, which is very important. If we visit Trieste again surely we will stay here.

Location - very central and easy to reach, close to the main square and a large 24h parking lot, both a 2-minute walk away. Room - comfortable bed, large room, functional bathroom, free water bottles in the fridge, cosy decor. Check-in/out - smooth and clear instructions from the staff.

Perfect location!

Beautiful, spacious room, overlooking Piazza della Borsa. Super location for walking to all the main attractions in Trieste. WiFi was strong, AC worked well, bed was comfy, plenty of good pressure hot water, and the room was very clean. Host was super welcoming and friendly, providing us with several recommendations. Book without hesitation.
