Easy access to Metherington, A spacious, warm and well-equipped caravan. So peaceful with lovely views of the lake. The outside seating area was a great addition.
Some very small things like salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen would’ve been helpful. Plus extra things like kitchen roll, a dish cloth to wipe up and a dish sponge would help for me to clean up.

Quiet location set around a small picturesque lake. All mod cons inside a house type interior, cooker microwave freezer etc.
I could have stayed longer.

Clean spacious caravan
Nothing wrong with the property
Booked it for 2 instead of 3 by mistake
Was honest with the hostess
Felt like the hostess was hostile and demanded 20 quid in cash as extra
I mean it’s a caravan so don’t see the issue whether 2 or 3 people stay
Hostess said it was to make another bed
Offered to do it myself which as a result was just pulling already made bedding from under the bed
So don’t know where the 20 quid part came from but heyho
The grounds are pleasant and property was clean I will say that

Fabulously clean caravan, in a beautiful, tranquil location. I think this was probably the cleanest static caravan I have ever stayed in. There were lovely, fresh towels and bed linen, no musty smells as we have experienced in other places. The booklet of information in the caravan was very helpful. The lady who checked us in was friendly and efficient.
The pillows could do with renewing, but that is a very minor issue and the price we paid was fantastic value. There wasn't really anything else to dislike.

The location was great with a choice of two fishing lakes for those who fish, the place is quiet as it is at the end of the village, there is a train track nearby but you hardly notice them, no breakfast as its a more help yourself type place but ample cooking facilities, the nearby village is a few hundred yards away and has a Co-op and other shops, pubs and takeaway shops for food. Our host were great and very friendly and on hand should you have any problems
Only one moan from the wife a internet junkie there is no Wi-fi on site

A lovely spacious static caravan with beautiful views of the fishing lake and very quiet and peaceful. Also only just over an hour drive to get to the Lincolnshire coast which was nice for a day out.
There was no wifi which we didn't mind but some might like to have it. There was a tv but no board games or playing cards etc which some people might like to have. There is a train line that runs by the site so you hear the trains but didn't ruin the stay.

The owner was friendly & helpful. So peaceful (no entertainment as this is mainly a fishing lake site), lovely view of the fishing lake in the distance (I was in caravan number 9) & various wildlife, caravan very clean & tidy. Plenty of seating space & a nice big table to work at (the one i had was a little wobbly, but it was fine). Kitchen has a full gas oven with grill, there's also a, microwave & toaster. I travelled on my own & it was the perfect base for attending a Petite Properties workshop in the old Methodist church in the village (10 minutes walk along a pretty straight road). Would definitely stay again 🙂
Just the wobbly table top! (If I had been staying longer I would have mentioned it to the owners)

A beautiful, peaceful caravan with a stunning view over the lake. Saw goslings young moorhens and rabbits too. A great area to take the history and what the Squadrons did for us in the war.
Having to leave.

A nice roomy, spotlessly clean, caravan. Beds were comfy. Could park next to the caravan. Manageress very friendly on our arrival.
Nearby pub/restaurant, The Lincolnshire Poacher, did a good evening meal and was dog-friendly.
There was a soap dispenser in the bathroom but no soap inside it.

The location is absolutely stunning, extremely well looked after and very peaceful. Caravan, although a little dated was spotless and had all facilities you would need.
The caravan was hard to heat, the storage heaters just don’t generate enough heat for the space.

Very clean and comfortable- only stayed one night so didn’t need much but it had everything we did need
Don’t expect modern furnishings (which we didn’t) but it was very comfortable

The accomodation was great for what we needed - a cheap place for 4 people for one night, close to a family get together. The person who booked us in was very friendly and chatty.
The caravan was spotless, apart from one of the windows where a previous guest's dog had obviously sat and rubbed its nose/tongue. We wish this window had been cleaned!
