Fenlake holiday accommodation

It was a good caravan in a peaceful setting

We were in the static caravan which was second from the far end, it had a little balcony outside one of the doors. There were two bedrooms, the living space was very spacious and the kitchen had pretty much everything you could want. The location is very peaceful. The village has an outstanding Indian restaurant, well worth a visit, along with a couple of chip shops, a co-op, pharmacy, a few pubs. All in all a nice place to visit.

The caravan is a little dated, but you can see this from the pictures, so we expected it. We also expected the beds to be quite small as my partner had experience staying in this type of accommodation before, the single beds are very small if you're an adult. It was fairly clean, but definitely not spotless, there was dust accumulating in places which wouldn't be cleaned by guests as part of regular use.

Great location, well looked after, very comfortable and very peaceful.

It was pretty cold, but there was a sudden cold snap and the gas fire took the edge off

Quiet and peaceful except for continous trains running past. Lake was ok but not much of walk for dog. Would be ideal for those wanting to fish instead of camping

Caravan was not up to our standards, sleep was non-existant, beds uncomfy, it wasn't so clean, cobwebs, bits on floor, dirty cutlery, the mat in entrace seen better days and the manual hoover thingy was about as much use as a chocolate fireguard however, for the money paid it was cheap and you get what you pay for. It was the disabled caravan as no others were available and our trip was an on route to the coast, so maybe other caravans are to a much higher standard.
