Mediocre hotel
I was not allowed to leave my luggage overnight for just 1 night. Hotel policy, which is not clear at the time of booking says it is not allowed. Though there is a dedicated room for luggage till 9pm, what is the problem to extend it for the night till morning. I am now forced to book an additional night to store my luggage.
Next to this there was a severe ethical incident by one of the hotel guests at the pool in the morning, I reported this to management.

I was discourage by a friend to go to this Hotel as he said it wasn't that good, but for us, we were looking for a place where to stay that is was simple, clean and well connected to the Marina (where our friends live) and decided to try the Battuta Ibn Mall hotel. As said, we were not looking for something luxury or fancy (for that we were a couple of days in another place), but mainly just a place to sleep, to have a decent breakfast and in nice conditions. Considering the low price that paid (in comparison with other options), we were actually surprised by the hotel, the room were big enough, could not hear a noise, the breakfast had a good choice (e.g. eggs, fruits, cereals, bread, tea, coffee, etc..), my wife used the gym a couple of times and we were sitting also a couple of times by the pool (we didn't swim in it because during the day we were away, but it was looking nice). The place is well connected to the mall, to the metro, to the highway, etc.. So, my overall rating is based mainly on the low price, you get really something of good value for what you pay.

We had a room in P1 at the front of the parking area, and we tried to change or upgrade it with the staff, but they refused, stating the hotel was fully booked. Our friends, who have a US passport, got a room on the 14th floor without even asking the staff.
Also, we had a flight early morning on Sunday, 18th Jan. And the guest next door decided to make a party inside his room with many people till 4:00 AM, regardless of the other guests who wanted to sleep or get some rest.
The location, my room was 273
Room service was less than the expected from such a hotel and such amount of money.

Great location next to the Mall and a public transport hub and great staff, especially Arish, Krishnan, Kumar and Arjon

I liked the bar in the hotel; the Christmas party was nice, and the food is nice too. The buffet was good. The only good facility in the hotel is actually the bar, and I am not an alcoholic.
I didn't like the fact that I had to go down to the reception for things instead of the phone being connected and the room being clean before I entered it. The room has the option for either the Wi-Fi or the phone being connected, and that is very bad. The worst thing about the hotel is the shower; it is very difficult to use. I have seen many showers in Dubai, and Premier Inn's shower is really bad.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, making it easy to move around and access nearby spots. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the staff were exceptionally cooperative and welcoming.
I would especially like to highlight Mr. Youseef at the front desk, truly an outstanding team member. He guides every guest with patience, clarity and genuine hospitality, which really adds value to the stay.
As for improvements, everything else was fine, but during the first night there was loud music that could be heard even inside the rooms until very late. It disturbed the rest a bit, but thankfully it didn’t continue on the following nights.
Overall, a good stay with excellent service, just hoping the noise issue gets managed better.

The location.
The shower water pressure was very poor.
There was an in-house tour guide, who the hotel reception recommended, called Mayra were terrible and I wish we never used them. Mediocre service for almost triple the price of other tour operators. Should’ve used booking.com for tours etc.

Location, staff, housekeeping
The hotel reception & public facilities were a construction site due to renovation.
We were notified only few days before our check in while our booking was non refundable. So we had to live with the noise all day long. Worst part was the pool and gym areas

Most of the service was good, frontline staff were fine.
Over priced for a 3*. Lots of disruptive building works going on which was not advised. Lost items of laundry and gave me items that were not mine. Allowed illegal vaping in inside public spaces without challenge.

Nothing went well, They do not have any labor to carry luggage of people. Sometimes, people have many bags to be carried till taxi and senior citizens are present. IT becomes difficult if there is no labor available to carry baggage.
Water was leaking from bathroom continuously and staff did not care about it at all, though i informed them multiple times about it. Hygiene was not proper, and room was smelling very badly there.

I had a very pleasant stay at Premier Inn Ibn Battuta. I originally booked a standard room, but upon check-in, the reception kindly upgraded me to a lovely room. That thoughtful gesture already set the tone for a great stay.
The location is excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was very nice. The reception staff were accommodating from check-in to check-out, and even the housekeeping team was always friendly and polite.
Overall, it’s a great place to stay — clean, convenient, and with warm hospitality. I would definitely recommend it.

The cleaning staff and Hotel staff treats you well however food needs more variety as it was repeatitive
I recently stayed at Premier Inn Ibn Battuta with my family, and unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. Despite the hotel’s convenient location, the poor communication, lack of empathy from front desk staff, and declining service standards turned what should have been a relaxing family holiday into a stressful experience.
We had booked two rooms two months in advance with a clear request for connecting rooms, as we were travelling with children. The booking was non-refundable and non-flexible, and I paid a higher rate compared to prices available at the time of arrival — trusting that booking early would ensure better room options and peace of mind. Sadly, that trust was completely misplaced.
Upon arrival, we were told that no connecting rooms were available. Receptionist Gracie was blunt, dismissive, and showed no empathy. When I asked when one might be available, she vaguely said “end of the month” and then told me to separate our passports by rooms. When I pointed out how unfair this was — especially after booking so far in advance — she simply called the manager, Ray, who repeated the same scripted line: “connecting rooms are subject to availability.”
Eventually, I was told that a family who had checked in just one day before us had been given the only available connecting room. It was deeply frustrating to realise that guests arriving last minute were being prioritised, while my advance request was treated like just another generic email — completely disregarded.
Because of this, we were forced to spend our first night all crammed into one room, as our children didn’t want to sleep separately. It was an uncomfortable, sleepless night. On the second day, we still had to wait before finally being moved to the connecting room. That’s two full days of our trip affected, and we had no option to cancel and go elsewhere, due to the strict non-refundable policy.

This is our second time at this hotel. It was wonderful, both times. This time, they have welcomed us with a bed with flowers and towels in a form of a birthday cake and a swan. What a wonderful surprise! Thank you!
Very good location, 3 min until the red metro line, near the bus station, buses towards other emirates and also local buses. Huge mall and Carrefour, near the hotel (passage towards the mall).
Wonderful Customer Service. Very clean!
The staff is amazing! From the reception, cleaning, security, kitchen.
Thank you once again for these wonderful days!
