The hotel is currently under going renovations in certain areas which I was not made aware of at time of booking It was challenging to get to the Front of hotel and Foyer needed more interaction from Hotel Management and Construction company also on 2 occasions the construction team we’re creating dust in the Breakfast Restaurant which I asked them to stop because of the impact of dust whilst eating lack of coordination

Room 540 given AC not working and after returning from global village at night nobody picked up phone or return calls and persons allotted to that room has to come our room 543 at night to sleep . In the morning before checkout we informed the staff at reception who escalated to another person but did not have any explanation and unable to compensate for the inconvenience caused.

I like how the kids and adults swim area are sprated. Everything else about the hotel too. There was renovation going on but still felt comfortable

We like the location in terms of access to public transport. The suite was comfortable and clean. Pool area was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good though of limited choice. Pool restaurant and cafe were pleasant areas and had a decent choice of food and drink.

We had stayed at the hotel twice before and consequently had high expectations before we arrived. A lot of renovation work means the front of the hotel and the foyer resembled a building site and at times there was significant noise from that work going on. Management of my expectations before we arrived at the hotel was disappointingly poor. The first room we were given was of a poor standard though this was resolved on the first day. Based on the amount of work going on and restrictions on accessing the hotel I felt that it was heavily overpriced.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. In particular Abdulla who secured me an early check in and who was very helpful throughout my stay.

Unfortunately, the renovations to the lobby area were not completed despite previous indications on the hotel website the work would be completed by 15 November prior to my arrival.

Breakfast was amazing and the staff were really helpful. Christian was really helpful and always available to assist. The location is not bad either

Considering the Price, Size of the room, Location with respect to our business schedule, and breakfast I'd say this Hotel did a very good job of meeting my expectations.

- Hotel Upkeep - (Main Front Entrance not accessible due to construction/maintenance, basement had to be used - understandable, however not pleasant and quite tedious when booking taxis etc.) - Some reception staff not pleasant (ever heard "Service with a smile?") - VERY Basic gym - can be improved. - Very dim lighting in Bfast Area. No natural light at all times. - WiFi not secure

Under heavy construction and lots of noise and dust in the lobby and floors. Some staff were behaving unprofessional and rude. Receptionist Sue and manager in duty Foad were very impolite and aggressive and were fabricating stories for tension with customers. There is no respect to customer at all. In total no value for money whilst there are many other options!

Everything, the staff was not welcoming, construction work has heavy sounds and drilling all day, the room was very pathetic, foul smell, not enough toiletries, no view, commode was leaking water, breakfast was not good, not enough variety and quality in food was bad aswell, it would seem like i am saying everything was bad.. it really was..

The location was great, and the staff were helpful and provided great services. The receptionist was supportive and helpful by allowing us to have late check-out.

Unavailability of steam and sona area. The water is folded on the floor when taken shower. There's no floor drain.

Our advance requests were met. The Rooms and Breakfast area boasts of Ibn Batuta’s culture and Arabic vibes. The staff at Breakfast is very attentive and helpful.

I understand the current Hotel renovations but that shouldn’t have affected the Guest Relations and Service specifically for Arriving guests. When I reached the Hotel, there were some staff at the door but no one offered a hand to help me with my bags / luggages (twice). At the Concierge upon checking in, staff were just looking but no one approached me nor greeted me up until I paced multiple times due to my exhaustion after travelling.

have travelled to many countries and stayed in countless hotels, but this has, by far, been my worst hotel experience. The Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai is simply not a five-star property. Pros: Spacious room and bathroom Conveniently close to the mall, metro station, and bus station (though far from the city) Early and late check-in allowed

From the outset, it was clear there are serious inconsistencies in service across all staff members. This appears to be an issue of poor leadership and unclear expectations rather than the fault of individual employees. I stayed here for 7 nights, and when I raised concerns in my initial review, I was approached by Mr Ahmed, the Manager for Kitchen and Dining Services. He was extremely kind and receptive to my feedback, and I did notice improvements in the dining service while he was present. Sadly, this was short-lived – as soon as management were off the floor, standards slipped straight back. One day staff would pull out chairs for guests and escort them to tables, the next day they could barely acknowledge you. I was offered a complimentary lunch as a goodwill gesture, which I appreciated, but overall the attitude from many staff suggested they simply didn’t want to be there. Additional issues included: Ongoing construction work during my stay, with drilling sounds throughout the day (though not audible in the room) Gym closed Pool constantly occupied by children and certain families all day, making it feel unwelcoming for other guests Water pooling in corridors near the lifts Dirty carpets and fingerprints on doors – poor attention to detail Apart from Su at reception, the front desk staff were cold and unwelcoming; one particular short woman during checkout was especially unfriendly Dark, dingy lobby with little seating and no inviting atmosphere Tasteless food with little menu variety; nut-containing foods were poorly labelled (dangerous for those with allergies – a banana cake was once labelled as chocolate cake) Stingy with water and soft drinks during lunch and dinner

It's a nice trip Israe, the duty manager upon checking in, more amazing and Mr. AHMED THE RESTAURANT MANAGER was very professional and kind

Love the place. It's beautiful decorated and there is huge space for all. The corridors are ample with beautiful carpets. They are doing renovation at the moment so some noise It's expected. Chef Murad was very accommodating of my needs. Thank you.

Location to ibn Battuta mall

Work going on a lot of very loud drilling and building work noise and couldn’t sleep early morning or afternoon nap or have a quiet morning or afternoon. Booked 3 rooms for family and they gave two rooms together and the other room was very far apart, very very long walk to one room from the other two rooms , very very inconvenient for family with children. Told reception many times and they took 1-2 days to reply and didn’t take any action after promising to give room closer, I raised this concern several times during the 12 days stayed but action happened. I was ignored with promises so many times. Breakfast was not like the general 5 star hotels in Dubai and dinner, items were very limited poor quality for a 5 star hotel . Overall stay regarding customer care, listen and action was poor.

AC is not too cold, lights didnt turned on in the morning for quiet some time. There’s an old smell. No too much facilities or activities

Hotel was in a good location, it has it’s own parking, close to shops within walking distance. Swimming pool is nice and quite big, lots of sunbeds.

Rooms are outdated, needs refurbishment. Also, room key cards.. Usually stops working after a day, so it’s a bit annoying that you have to go to reception and keep replacing them everyday.
