The location. In the middle of the 'real' Palermo, including a lady shouted at her husband to get a life. Loved that the most haha.

The location of this apartment is just outside of the LEZ which points immediately to it being very central. The apartment was very clean and held everything you needed. As a family of 5, we had plenty of room and used the rooftop terrace every day to sit and eat which was perfect. A minor hiccup at arrival with the bed layout was quickly addressed and on the 1st night we had an issue with one of the AC units, but again this was checked and sorted the next morning and Simona was lovely and quick to sort this and to allow us to just carry on with our holiday. The owner was very prompt in all communication and informed us of where to park our car close by for 13 euro's per day. A 5 minute walk from the apartment at most and you hit the busting main street of Palermo with many of the major attractions all very close by. Morning markets for getting your food shopping open from very early and they are very reasonably priced and a proper adrenaline rush for all your senses. Overall, a great apartment in a fantastic location with so much going on around it...
