Zur gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung führte eine Treppe mit angenehmer Stufenhöhe. In der direkten Nähe konnten wir einen Parkplatz bekommen, ein Bäcker sowie ein kleines Lokal ist ebenfalls da. Fußläufig sind die Märkte Ballero und Vuccaria über eine Fußgängerzone gut erreichbar, unser Hund war sehr zufrieden mit dem ebenfalls nahegelegenen Park, es gibt sogar eine kleine eingezäunte Wiese. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben die Ruhe trotz nahem Touristen-/Besucherstrom genossen.

Das waren Kleinigkeiten und wäre jammern auf hohem Niveau. Es ist ein Wohnviertel, Lebensmittelläden sind etwas entfernt.

Our stay was wonderful. Very central location. We loved the cathedral! Bar Marocco just down the street. Very good coffee spot. Got the Tripadvisor sign. I would recommend 100%!

Location is excellent.

Unfortunately, there were several issues during our stay. Upon arrival, even though we followed the instructions, we could not find the key for the room we had booked. Only after contacting the owner was the situation resolved, by placing us in a different room than the one reserved. At the end of our stay, we were unexpectedly told to pay double the originally stated city tax due to a recent increase by the municipality of Palermo. This had never been communicated to us in advance, despite booking as early as April 26th. While the apartment is in an excellent location, other aspects fell far short. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, the cleanliness below standard, and the washing machine was in such poor condition that I would not recommend using it (the detergent compartment was extremely dirty). The host was polite and responsive, but the unexpected extra charge and the mishandling of check-in left a negative impression. Compared to the other three accommodations we stayed at in Sicily, this one was only fair enough for a short stay, but certainly not on the same level of quality.
