Happie Casa Il Capo & La Cattedrale

Casa accogliente e pulita. Design artistico e curato. Presenza di tutti i servizi e comodità che ci si aspetta da un appartamento per vacanze.

Il soppalco era più caldo ed era più difficile da rinfrescare con il condizionatore, se si voleva sfruttare il divano letto al piano base, che aveva lo splitter puntato addosso. Ma nel complesso l'appartamento era fresco e vivibile con splitter anche in camera.

Appartamento vicinissimo alla cattedrale di Palermo e Palazzo dei Normanni, molto centrale. Nonostante ciò, é molto tranquillo e silenzioso. Si trova al primo piano, il condominio e le scale sono estremamente pulite, così come l'interno dell'appartamento che oltre a essere pulitissimo comprendeva anche tutti i comfort come lavatrice, tv, forno a microonde, macchina del caffé con le cialde, moka e bollitore dell'acqua, detersivi per piatti e per lavatrice, shampoo sapone e bagnoschiuma. Il letto é molto comodo, e sono presenti molti asciugamani. L'aria condizionata é presente nella camera da letto e nella sala. Sono presenti anche due balconcini e uno stendino per stendere i panni. Inoltre, i padroni di casa ci hanno anche fatto lasciare i bagagli in giacenza prima del check-in e ci hanno prestato due ombrelloni da mare che sono stati molto utili per stare in spiaggia.

É stato tutto ottimo. Forse la casa é un po' buia essendo all'inizio di un vicolo ma non é stato un problema visto che siamo stati fuori casa quasi tutto il giorno

Location is excellent.

Unfortunately, there were several issues during our stay. Upon arrival, even though we followed the instructions, we could not find the key for the room we had booked. Only after contacting the owner was the situation resolved, by placing us in a different room than the one reserved. At the end of our stay, we were unexpectedly told to pay double the originally stated city tax due to a recent increase by the municipality of Palermo. This had never been communicated to us in advance, despite booking as early as April 26th. While the apartment is in an excellent location, other aspects fell far short. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, the cleanliness below standard, and the washing machine was in such poor condition that I would not recommend using it (the detergent compartment was extremely dirty). The host was polite and responsive, but the unexpected extra charge and the mishandling of check-in left a negative impression. Compared to the other three accommodations we stayed at in Sicily, this one was only fair enough for a short stay, but certainly not on the same level of quality.
