Beautiful location and comfortable, clean apartments with everything you need provided. My family had rented 3 apartments in the building, and the stairs were narrow - but this is something we expect when we rent in a historical city center. For those with lower mobility, the ground-floor apartment had no stairs, which was great for my grandmother. The host was warm, welcoming, super responsive, and the location couldn't have been better either - close-by shops, restaurants, sightseeing locations... Top value for money!

The accommodation is located in a beautiful part of Palermo, very close to the cathedral, in a small charming street. The apartment itself was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and it is very pleasant to sleep in it. The bathroom is spacious, although the bathroom door is quite narrow, so it may not be very comfortable for a larger person. Also, the stairs leading to the accommodation are quite narrow. It was not a problem for us since we only had carry-on luggage and we are generally petite women, but for larger people or those with big suitcases it could feel a bit claustrophobic. The room is located away from the street, so there is no noise coming from outside. The hosts were very accommodating and allowed us to enter the apartment earlier, so compliments for the communication as well.

The only small suggestion for the hosts would be to provide some kind of plastic holder or shelf for shampoos inside the shower cabin

Apartment on the 4th floor with very narrow staircase in the building but only difficult when going up/down with the luggage. The water pipes are by the bed and it is noisy. Owner not very polite, never replies for example where I could find the internee modem and code

The apartment itself was nicely decorated and had a cozy kitchenette, but it lacked basic kitchen supplies like coffee, tea, sugar, salt, and oil, which would have been appreciated. The location is very central — just steps away from the Cathedral and Capo Market — making it convenient for sightseeing. The host was helpful and responsive, which we appreciated.

However, the surrounding area is quite run-down, and the narrow cobbled street (about 2 meters wide) right outside the apartment is surprisingly busy. Locals drive through it at high speed, even late at night, often with loud music, which makes it hard to relax or sleep. The apartment doors are not soundproof, so noise from the street is clearly audible.The biggest issue was the water pump, which seems to serve the entire building and is located inside the apartment. It activates loudly every time water is used — even just to refill the toilet tank — and can run for several minutes. If you're a light sleeper, this could be a serious disturbance during the night. Overall, while the location is great for exploring Palermo, the noise and lack of basic amenities made the stay less comfortable than expected
