A perfect house in nature and close to culture and wine

A beautiful house with a 180 degrees view of the Colli Euganei, just a steep climb by asphalt road above one of the most beautiful villages of Italy, Arqua Petrarca. Large house with multiple bedrooms, large kitchen and living room. Friendly host Matteo gives help and info, two lovely large dogs provide playful company! It is a unique area, with superb small towns,castles and villas and you can reach Venice by train from nearby Monselice in 52 minutes for Euro 6.50! Splendid Padova is a short drive away. Near the house the wonderful winery of Vignalta!

Very cozy and quiet place to escape from noisy citylife

Matteo and all his animals made our days full of happiness and restfulness. The house is good equipped, wi-fi signal is strong enough, location is good - 12 min to train station Monselice by car.

One of the best places we've ever stayed

One of the best places we've ever stayed. We absolutely loved it. The views across the valley are incredible (from both the rooms and the garden) and the house is spacious and clean. The friendly host, Matteo, has two even friendlier Italian sheep dogs who were absolutely gorgeous and very gentle with our 1 year old who also loved being introduced to the donkeys, goats, mini pigs and chickens! It's also a very short drive/walk to the lovely town of Arqua Petrarca which has some great restaurants and there are hiking trails in the hills nearby. It was a perfect getaway after a busy few days in Venice.

Amazing house and beautiful view!

The house was beautiful, comfortable, cozily furnitured and well facilitated/equipped. The view from the house was breathtaking! Matteo, the owner, was incredibly helpful and friendly and we loved being surrounded by the animals on the property!

Exceptional

This lovely rural villa is located among olive orchards, at the end of a beautiful alley leading from an impressive gate. Matteo, the host, welcomed us and showed around in a very friendly and helpful manner (his private house is located in the nearby). The villa is very spacious and stylish, with high quality, new type of windows and doors and with some beautiful furniture, white marble stairs leading to the first floor where a master bedroom with a bathroom en suite is located, alongside with three other bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with a lovely, old fashioned, pink marble sink, a dining room, a sitting room with a fireplace, a lounge and a comfortable bathroom. There is also a nice porch with a table and chairs, accessible through the sitting room doors. The surrounding is green and quite, enables relaxation and sun bathing. It has been a perfect spot for us to rest for a few days on our way from Poland to Calabria. It is also worth mentioning that Matteo made it possible to charge our plug-in car which was very appreciated. We will definitely keep this location in mind for the future.

This is the best place Matteo looked after us so well, the views of the valleys below are stunning. The property is absolutely perfect with plenty of room for a large group. I would strongly recommend this place and we have told others about it and will return ourselves. Matteo fishing tours will be very high on our list of things to do. The village is part of the bonus to this stay. Andy

Wunderschön!

Die Unterkunft liegt oberhalb des niedlichen Örtchens Arquà Petrarca. Man hat von dort einen überragenden Blick auf die Landschaft mit ihren Hügeln und Olivenhaien. Unser Vermieter Matteo war immer sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und gab uns viele gute Tipps. Wir konnten sogar bei der Olivenernte mithelfen, was ein besonderes Erlebnis für unsere Familie war. Die Umgebung konnten wir per Auto oder auch per Zug (z.b. nach Venedig) gut erkunden. Im Haus war für uns alles was wir brauchten. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub!!!

Bellissima casa immersa nel verde

Bellissima casa, spaziosa, pulita e accogliente e con un meraviglioso giardino. Ottima la posizione ad Arquà Petrarca, perfetta per visitare il borgo e i colli in cui è immersa. Gentilissimo il proprietario e i suoi cagnoloni, torneremo sicuramente !!

Prachtig huis in de heuvels voor rust en leuke uitstapjes

Prachtig huis met nog mooier uitzicht op de heuvels met ruime en mooie tuin. Veel rust en grote kamers dus heerlijk zelf ook tot rust komen.

Relax a ferragosto

Bellissima casa in mezzo alla natura, Ampi spazi a disposizione . Tre camere e tre bagni a disposizione. Bellissimo panorama soprattutto la sera. Proprietario gentile. Un bel luogo dove soggiornare con gli amici.

Purtroppo mancava l'aria condizionata. A Ferragosto faceva veramente caldissimo ma si faticava a dormire con le finestre aperte per via dell'abbaiare dei cani e il cantare dei galli. Molti nidi di vespe. La zona giorno meriterebbe una maggiore pulizia. Sicuramente da rivivere in periodi meno torridi.
