Nice cultural stay in Szeged

Very good omelette and fried sausage We managed to find a parking space on the street just opposite to the hotel. City centre is light walking distance

The coffee maker in the room didn't work as we thought. The knob on the top isn't a small-large dose switch, but a cold-hot one. Unfortunately, we set it to cold because we thought it was a small dose.

Great Stay for the Price! This hotel offers fantastic value with its prime location—super convenient for exploring the area on foot. The staff were incredibly accommodating, always ready to help with a smile.

Rooms were clean, though there was a strong smell upon entering (which I tolerated) and it stayed cold even after turning on the heating during winter. Breakfast options felt a bit limited; adding more variety like fresh fruits or local specialties would elevate it. Overall, still highly recommend for budget travelers!

Boutique stay in Szeged

Friendly obliging staff, arrived by train, left by bus, roamed the town easily from this location, full range of tourist information in multiple languages provided. Decent array of non-fixed coat hangers, which is not always the case. Boutique hotel experience, which I had forgotten about in the long time between booking and arrival.

Peacful hotel near the city center

It is very close to the major tourist location, in the hearth of the city.

Not a problem with the Hotel itself, but parking is something to keep an eye on. The hotel is in the most expensive parking zone, but moving down a couple 100 meters is a cheaper one.

Small boutique hotel with helpful staff. I would definitely book here again!

The breakfast was lovely and the staff helpful. The hotel is in a great location and close to restaurants and cafes. The front desk person was helpful when I was checking in and checking out. The room was clean. And bonus points for a well stocked mini bar!!!!

Maybe the bed could have been a little more comfy-- not a deal breaker though.

basic, no frills, super location, in a quiet neighborhood with convenient parking across the street

friendly, welcoming staff; everything was very clean; nice to see a proper Mini-Bar fully stocked; breakfast was fine, no frills, basic with reasonable variety. very fluffy towels (not usually found!)

bed wasn't super comfy, TV was Hungarian-only, room was dated; maybe because of a last minute booking, prices were high for the quality (I've stayed at other properties in Szeged for less and the facilities were nicer)

Amazing *.*

We had an excellent time in Szeged and Partium Hotel was part of the great experience. The staff were very friendly, special thanks to Nikolett. The room was comfortable and very clean and included soaps, shower gel, glasses, bottle opener, 2 types of towels, hangers, hair dryer etc The location was so perfect! We had 2 goals to achieve: the zoo and the aquapark and both were close ( we walked, but people can use buses and trams too. Also the train station only 13 minutes walk or 3 stops by tram. Many restaurants, pubs are also nearby. Breakfast was enjoyable with many options. Thank you, we will be back :)))

Centrally located hotel and quiet rooms

The breakfast was included in the price. It was very quiet in my room (probably also because I had a room with inner courtyard view). I could reach all of my desired locations (uni, grocery store, bus terminal, railroad station, a variety of restaurants) on foot in a maximum of 15 minutes.

Very good

The location is central yet quiet My room faced the courtyard so it was totally silent at night. Receptionists are friendly and speak English. A very good and authentic Chinese restaurant that seems to cater for Chinese University Students is located 30 meters from the hotel.

The water in the shower smells of rust (perhaps this is a problem all over Szeged). Despite the water in the tap is clearly undrinkable there was no free water bottles provided in the room (those who arrive at night should bring their own water. Otherwise buy bottled water at the Aldi supermarket nearby). One small sachet with shower gel was provided (why so austere? Some people actually have a shower twice a day!). The breakfast was not the typical good Hungarian breakfast one expects. It was bland (no paprika sauce of any kind) and the fried eggs were so lightly fried the yolk flowed as soon as the fork touched it). On the bright side the bread was fresh.
