I would return

This was our second stay at the hotel and I would return. It provides a decent breakfast and the evening restaurant is not bad. Room and bathroom are comfortable.

The hotel is a bit on its own by the river - so we have eaten in the hotel restaurant both stays rather than go out for dinner. The restaurant isn't bad but it also isn't haute cuisine.

Just spent one night here while in transit. Staff was helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was available right in front of the hotel for 8 Eur/ night. Fee for pet (cat) was 15 Eur. Quick/ smooth check-in/out process. Breakfast was great, lots of options to choose from. Nice view over the river. There is a playground space for kids and a video games room for older kids adjacent to the breakfast area. Shower was perfect and I also liked the toiletries (shower gel and shampoo + hand soap). Fresh towels. Our room had a balcony. If we’d ever plan to visit Szeged we will definitely book again.

Bathroom is quite small but it was not an issue for us.

For one or two nights ok, but for the breakfast i would go to a coffe house

The breakfastroom is too small and the logic, that the kitchen is on the other side of the room as the food was strange.No seasonal food...who is eating oranges in summer and apple from last year when the orchards are exactly this time full of peach, grapes, melon etc. The coffe was not drinkable, the pancaces from the funny machine were not relly properly baked, bread was old.

Excellent hotel, great location

The hotel was very well located, with a scenic river view, just far enough away from the city center to feel quiet and yet within 15 mins walking distance from the center through a nice park. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was very good,

There were some issues with the local trains when I was there, and the staff gave conflicting answers that led to some hassles. Since this is important for the guests, I suggest they make a better effort to keep up to date with transportation situations so as not to mislead guests.

Should have packed earplugs!

Nice hotel and in a very good location by the river. Room was spacious, very clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Under normal circumstances I would rate the hotel far higher than I have, but it was just too noisy.

Would have got more sleep if we took pillows out to the car and slept in it, as hotel was really noisy. Rooms above had house party, partying all through the night until daybreak. It was a Saturday night and hopefully a one off. Nonetheless, I left the hotel more tired than when I arrived.

Good hotel but avoid dinner

Nice location. Very comfy and clean room. Staff was nice. It is ok to sleep there and maybe have breakfast. Definitely do not choose dinner!

We were there at the beginning of January. The hotel was ok but the “restaurant” was very disappointing. Breakfast room was extremely crowded and unorganized. They were clearly overwhelmed. Much more staff needed. Also the dishes were poor. We had dinner one day, very expensive with a very poor choice. (20 euros per person and you could choose from 3 types of potatoes and 2 kinds of meat) We travel a lot in Hungary and we love the Hungarian famous cuisine but it is definitely not the case this time.

Great place to spend a few nights in Szeged

Staff was extremely welcoming (even though we arrived late) and allowed us to park inside the garage. We were able to charge our EV during the night on the 7kW charger. Room was spacious and breakfast had enough options for each of us.

Park in front of the hotel was dirty with garbage lying around. Saw a bug in the bathroom.

All in all a very good package. Modern hotel, nice view on the city and the river! 10min walk till the centre of Szeged. Very dog friendly.

Parking right in front of the hotel, great location near to city center, breakfast

The room was clean overall, but the dust bags in cleaning staff's vacuums should be changed more often. The smell is characteristic. Beware "twin room". It does not mean "bigger" but "connected with the next room". Door is obviously lockable from both sides, but not soundproof at all. You hear literally everything. Our neighbors were luckily a calm pair with a little boy, who went to sleep right after arriving.
