The location is fantastic for those who like more solitary and idyllic places. The place is humble but very clean and comfortable. The sea is just a few steps which was the most important for us. 3-4 km from the nearest village, but just 50 m to a beach tavern. The hosts were very kind, there were welcome and goodbye treats. The garden in front is like a mini paradise and it distinguishes the property from most of the others. We were spending most of the time on the nice veranda when we were there.

Comfy bed compared to other hotels we had been to, amazing location right on the beach and no noise from the few neighbours. Calm waters and some snorkeling opportunities. We really liked the taverna kioni next door. Much better than the one a bit further down the road.

The best location on south Crete. Its like having your own personal private cove right in front of the apartment. You can hear the waves lapping at night. Lakkoi is wonderfully quiet and like Crete from many years ago. I had to drive through a heard of goats to get there. However it is extremely close to Frangokastello as well if you need the shops or anything else.
