About this house rental
The house is located in Galià, a village above the prefecture capital Mires in the Heraklion district. From Heraklion airport it can be reached by car in about 1 hour. It is an L-shaped stone house with a large courtyard.
The house is newly renovated.
In front is a garden with fruit trees and ornamental plants.
The floors are covered with tiles. The blankets are thermally insulated so that it can be used in summer and winter.
Satellite television is available (Astra).
A fully equipped kitchen is available (refrigerator, stove, microwave). There is also a gas cooker (can only be used outside).
The bathroom has a bath, sink and washing machine. Hot water is generated via a boiler.
In the village there are 2 small shops where you can buy everything for everyday needs.
The distance to the place Mires is approx. 3.5 km.
You have a beautiful view of the Mesara plain in the southwest and of the mountains (Ida Mountains, Psiloritis) in the northeast.
Excursions: In the mountains or to the sea, approx. 10 - 15 km each, depending on the beach or hiking trail.
The house can also be rented out to self-caterers over a longer period of time, even over winter.
