Great holiday.

Bit isolated,but within walking distance to a small section of the town,pubs and shops. One mile form the gorge. Easy drive to all of Somerset.

Really relaxing place to stay, everything you need is on hand, highly recommend

The lodge was in a beautiful quiet location, it was so lovely and quiet at night, made it easy to sleep in the lovely comfy bed. The whole place was really clean and tidy superbly equipped and the host was lovely. Just wished we could have stayed longer.

My only criticism and it is only minor, the outside furniture was not quite as comfy as could have been. But probably only noticeable as the weather was so beautiful and we wanted to be outside more than normal.

A few little touches needed

The lodge was warm, cosy, comfortable and centrally situated to visit many places

The lack of equipment. Eg. No toilet roll holder, no shelf for toiletries in the shower, no full length mirror, no chair in bedroom, no kitchen roll or dishcloth, etc. Some of the pictures are misleading as the conifers have now grown into a hedge, so there is no view from the patio doors as shown

Superb stay and enhanced our experience

The lodge was clean and tidy. We had coffee and milk left for us. It was excellent that we were left alone and we could come and go as we pleased. Superb communication with Amanda and always updated if needed. Thanks Amanda for an excellent stay.

The lodge was set in a great location and following the instructions, was easy to find. It was clean and tidy, instructions how to use facilities. Lovely, warm and comfortable little lodge, perfect.

Lovely lodge in the perfect location for exploring beautiful Cheddar

A lovely lodge perfect for two guests looking to explore cheddar. Excellently situated with many places within walking distance. So clean and comfortable it was lovely to come back to after a long day walking.

My only qualm was the super flat pillows, we ended up using garden pillows for support at night. everything else was perfect!

Superb location within walking distance to the centre of Cheddar. Warm and cosy lodge that retained heat and was always warm to come back to. Friendly and helpful hosts. Good value for money in a superb location with lovely views.

Staff/owner was lovely. Friendly, professional and helpful. Lodge was well kitted out with everything needed for our stay. Really appreciated the book with recommendations and info on the surrounding areas.

If you want somewhere to relax and get away from everyday life this is the place. It has everything you could possibly need. It was just perfect.

Exceptional

The accomodation was immaculate and everything was setup really nice. Loved the kitchen and fire. The location is amazing. We had to arrive later than expected when checking in, but it wasn't a problem and we really enjoyed our stay. Defiantly would recommend.
