Nice and clean room, next to LiDl supermarket, close to the town or train station

There was no kettle in the room or at least in the common area (ex.corridor), there were no glasses in the room, vending machine (coffee/tea) at the reception was not available from morning till 2 p.m. What a shame! People loves to have coffee or tea in the morning. You should put that vending machine outside of the building or in the corridor next to the elevator which drives guests to the rooms.

I mean I knew from the moment I booked that the room was going to be gorgeous, so it couldn't exceed my expectations, because they were already high. I had a street view to Lidl from my window, which is always a big plus. It is located I suppose on the main street, and because the city is kind of small, everything worth visiting is within walking distance, such as the lake, the train station, the boutiques etc.

I didn't get a spam message from the host, nor a reply to my message, such as they are expecting me, with instructions of how the check in works, which resulted in panic as I didn't notice the reception area at first, and had to be charged around 5 euros for roaming calls from my telephone operator, because the host's number wasn't on whatsapp or viber.

It wasn’t too far from the city centre & it was really clean. The staff was nice and the room pretty big

We had to share our bathroom with 2 other guests which was really annoying. The walls were super thin which made sleeping quite difficult. You heard everything from everywhere. The bed was very uncomfortable and the blanket was more of a duvet cover.

Location was great, 10 min walk to the train station and 17 min walk to the city centre, dock station. Very friendly staff with useful information. Room was small but comfortable for couple of days stay.

I had a horrible stay. No hot water , no internet, I was extra charged EUR 50 when on booking the accommodation was EUR 171 , one adult with 2 kids. When I went back to reception to explain all the above issues, initially the receptionist was outside on her phone, black long curly hair, and she got really annoyed with me because I kept telling her that my kids need to shower. She kept telling me that I have hot water , then she changed her mind saying that if one of us showered already I will not have hot water for the others . At this point was very late ( around 10pm and nowhere else to go). We took showers with cold water because was a hot day . When I told her that I saw on booking the room for one adult and 2 kids for EUR 171 she said that maybe before but now she blocked the access so I have to pay her extra EUR 50. So she s also a smack. I told her I don’t have internet and she said that she doesn’t believe me and to wait because will come. I explained her that I need to work on US time and she didn’t care.

Owner of property or at least I think he was I organised a late check out-11.00 with receptionist only to get a call at 10:10 abusing me for not checking out at 10:00. I went to room to find my luggage thrown outside the room. I confronted the man/owner and he wouldn’t believe or listen to my explanation. He was very rude Also shower didn’t drain and shower head wasn’t attached to wall

Scammers, never stay at this hotel!!!

Nothing, no carries just money, like scammers. Rejected my check-in and not refund money!

I booked room at this “hotel”, and contacted with property that I delayed to check in and arrived about 0:00-1:00 at the night time. I contacted property in advance about 21:00, you can check scans. They answer that check in after 23:00 impossible and stop answer how we can decide it!!!! Just approved 100% prepayment for room booking and keep the silence, like real SCAMMERS!!!! I forced to found another hotel this night, and next day call to property how we can fix it and refund money for booking and get rough answer: “it’s your problem and booking.com, your are not my customers”!!!! First time I have situation like this, I’m absolutely disappointed about it(((((

The property was good with lots of space. A little walk from the town center but we didn't mind that so much.

The grounds are very scruffy considering its called the Victoria Royal Garden! There is a miss mash of cutlery and crockery in the apartment but we managed with what was there.

I totally Dissatisfied, disappointed with staff’s services with behavior don’t care and rude

The the man who is GM or staff there ( I’m not sure their position) is very rude and not helpful. WiFi slow Not helpful staff seem look down to guest who are from Asia. Water smells bad. Not easy to call taxi to train station because staff (the man) is not helpful to support guests in case we have big lag age there will be very difficult. I will not return back to this hotel forever. It is not hotel actually, it is appartment for rent. I totally Dissatisfied, disappointed, I am a tourist bring money to spend in their country, but they not helpful to find solution when I request them to call taxi to station. When I checked out morning time around 9:00am not staff stand by to support us call taxi or offer necessary information

Magnificient, Marvellous, Magical, Memories Made

The Hotel was approximately a straight 25 minutes stroll from the train station. Easy and straight forward wheeling the suitcases. On the main road opposite Lidl, perfect for groceries and wine. We were not disturbed by the traffic noise. The location of the Hotel was perfect for the old town of Como and the Harbour. Each time we took a different route in and back and was no longer than 25 minutes each time of walking and site seeing. The beautiful boutiques to window shop in passed the time to reach the squares adored with coffee stops and soak in the ambience of beautiful Como. The room was incredibly spacious, classy, comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you would need to sleep well, shower and get ready for the day and evening. Plenty of storage and wardrobe space, mirrors, tea coffee facilities (purchase your own items) and mini fridge for wine and milk. There was a large fridge in the main corridor with free bottles of water to help yourself. A great touch. The Hotelier was amazingly friendly and helpful. His english was great. Our luggage was stored securely and safely during out day of departure as had a late flight. We were given access to an available room to change in ready for our journey home. My daughter and I had the most wonderful experience in Como and will defintely be returning to this Hotel again in the future. I do not often leave reviews, but really had to express how much I was impressed with this facility. Give it a try and I assure you will not be disappointed.

Great option for Como

The hotel is very well located at only 10 mn walking from the city center, the train station St Giovani, and the lake. The hotel staff is very professional, they provide a complete information about the city at the check-in. The room was clean, well equipped and spacious. I recommend this hotel for your stay in this splendid town of Como.

The iron was missing in the room, but maybe they provide it at the reception as i didn't ask.

Generally it’s a good place to stay. The Lidl is just in front of the hotel.

Super comfortable bed and pillow, a lot of staff for traveller - toothbrush + small toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, shaver and small shaving cream. It has an elevator, 4 small bottles of water. Lidl was near the building. Good WiFi. A lot of fresh towels. Administrator provides you with the city map

The windows are super thin, you can hear EVERYTHING. Considering that the apartment is near the railway and the road, the double-glazed windows should have been 3-layer You can hear your neighbors through the wall, even though they cough not loudly

Executive suite ‘two bedrooms’ are not really two separate bedrooms

We booked Executive Suite with two bedrooms. The apartment was fine, but it should never be called ‘two bedroom”. The Executive Suite two bedrooms had two major problems: 1) to get to the second bedroom you had to walk through the first bedroom 2) there was no door between them, the door frame was there but it had no actual door, just a curtain between the two bedrooms.

The location was really convenient. it’s close by the supermarket and easily reachable 10 minutes walk from the train station

Garden was a little bit small. We were lucky enough no one was using the pool. There was no air conditioning in the reception, so it was a little bit tough waiting for the check-in

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone would wants to stay in Como. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the centre where you can take boat trips or the funicular up to Brunate. The room was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were also amazing! Thank you very much for our stay :)

Great stay, clean room, good air conditioned, easy parking near the hotel. Small and fresh pool in the garden for nice cooling down in this hot summer, i come back at Victoria hotel next travel for sure Higly recomended, Special Thanks to Miss Marta the beatiful receptionist.
