Great but not if you travel with small children

Very clean, well maintained, well organized, spacious apartments

It’s not great if you have small children. The house is built out of wood and extremely sound sensitive. You hear the upstairs neighbours walking, you hear people walking in the staircase (loudly). If you have children and the move like children do, they will disturb the entire house (and management will let you know). They will make you feel like they run a meditation center that you are disturbing.

A memorable stay in a nice residence at a relaxing location.

The facility was very well maintained, the rooms were quite spacious, and the wooden theme was very relaxing. Check-in was also easy. Overall, a very relaxing experience in a nice chalet in the woods.

Maybe a little expensive, but no complaints about the staff or the place!

We have arrived in the evening and left in the morning, so I wouldn't dare to comment on the hotel neighborhood. The hotel room itself was very comfortable, spacious, log-alike house lovers will be excited :-) Beds comfortable, trees all around the building made to lookout from balcony simply great. Well equipped kitchen.

Poor wifi, most likely because the AP in our room was dead and we were hooked on one more far from us. The staircase and hallway were a bit smelly, but the smell didn't make it to the room, so OK.

Charming hotel

Clean, big apartment. Good beds. Very helpful staff. Beautiful hotel, charming and close to many activities in Amneville. We loved our stay.

No airco and despite only 20 degrees outside, it was very warm in the room. Chairs were falling apart. Next to that: no complaints!

A very cozy cabin hotel in the woods! We loved the photos on here and it was just as great in real life. We had a practical problem when we arrived, and it was perfectly and very kindly taken care of! We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is on a sort of hill covered in trees, there are all kinds of entertainment things around, like a pool, restaurants, a zoo etc. We came for the feel of nature though, and we enjoyed it.

A very pleasant hotel, but be prepared for the location

We had a single overnight stay while travelling across northern France, the hotel being conveniently easy to reach from the A4 motorway near Metz, and with free parking right outside the main front door. The style of the hotel is similar to an Alpine chalet - all wood. Our room (combined bedroom/diner/ kitchen) and the bathroom were very spacious and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with enough facilities to be able to prepare your own meals if you wanted to. Off the dining area, there was a balcony overlooking the woodland, and the bathroom had a big oval bath and large shower. We had dinner at the hotel's nearby partner restaurant which offered a 10% discount to hotel guests. A generous breakfast (bread, pastries, croissants, jam, yoghurts, coffee, milk) was delivered to the door of our room at the requested time the following morning. Paths through the adjacent woodland, leading to the lake, were ideal for walking our dog.

The location of this hotel took us totally by surprise - it is set within, and is part of, an extremely busy theme park with countless visitor attractions for families and for adults only. This is fine if you want the activities that are available there, and perhaps we should have done more research before we booked. That said, the hotel itself was in a quiet location, and once we had found the woodland paths near the hotel, and the route along them to the lake, we were able to go on walks away from the bustle of the rest of the site.

Wonderful place in the middle of the forest close to main attractions for kids like the oceanarium and the zoo, thermal swimming pools. You can enjoy the forest in the balcony and the river. I have already booked for september again.

Very nice and calm location

The hotel is located in a beautiful area between the forest, therefore it is very calm there. The accommodation actually looks better in reality then on the pictures, we were pleasantly surprised. The stuff is super kind and the breakfast is excellent. If you would like to switch off then this is a perfect place to stay.

Road trip stay

The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The communication of the hotel with all the needed information was proactive from the side of the hotel and quite easy.

The area the hotel is located is the popular area because of thermal waters, local zoo and bowling and seemingly quite a number of other entertainment possibilities, which normally would mean that there are plenty of options where to eat, which is barely the case. There were number of small restaurants & cafes in the walking distance, but of the very questionable quality. In the morning when we tried to find a decent breakfast we had to drive to couple of places quite afar from the hotel and even that did not help that much. So booking of the breakfast at the hotel could be advisable, but I cannot say anything of the quality of what they offer.

Very pretty and clean studio apartment.

Lovely, traditional chalet. Very well laid out. Clean and well maintained room. Kitchenette well stocked. Nice 'gift' of cake bars and tea. Ample and easily accessible parking.

Heating controls -both the main area and bathroom were a bit cold. One plate and one cup were chipped. Stairwell was really dark with light switches only at the top. No wifi! Instructions to enter the lodge could be simpler.

Wooden house in the forest

It's a nice place to stay overnight or for a weekend. The wooden house is quite cozy and well-maintained. The room is well-equipped, it has all the necessary things inside. The surroundings are beautiful. There's a forest, zoo and a ski resort nearby. Also, there're themes with mineral water.

I'd wish the sofa-bed to be more comfortable.
