Location was excellent for my INM immigration appointment. Incredibly helpful and pleasant staff. They helped me late at night find a copy place which saved me from having to get up early. Everything was clean. A few decent places to eat nearby. I recommend the bon appétit Café. I stayed for two nights and was satisfied.
Things were as described, it is a budget place to stay in Pachuca. So based on value, at around 400-500 pesos a night for a private room and private bathroom, I still rate them an 8 out of 10. Walls are thin however so if you are light sleeper bring earplugs in case other guests are late night people.
Improvements would be more places to hang out, some refreshed bedding in the rooms, a little bit more warmth in the decor in the rooms. With those things in place, I would've felt more comfortable with choosing this place for a longer stay, but for two nights it did the job well, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay too much longer without some modifications.

Excellent location in a very safe part of the city, an easy walk from both the Centro Historico and from the TuzoBus Bus Rapid Transit line. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable, and private. It felt more like a tiny hotel than a traditional hostel.

To have access to a refrigerator to store food/drinks.

The guy at checkin was friendly and let us leave our bags in the room and checkout at 3pm.
The other guests were very noisy in the evening, our rooms was by reception so very noisy. The room had no natural light. Water from shower almost reached the room. No proper door on bathroom.
