Beach house Sveti Jakov

The view was breathtaking from the room/ balcony and the location was great as directly above the best beach. It was also a lovely walk (25 min approx) into the old town with no steps except those to the property. It really gave us the best of both worlds. The room was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. There are lots of steps to the property and to access the beach but the steps were easy enough to climb with lots of resting points if needed

Unfortunately it was cold for a few days and we missed out on sitting on the balcony - the room and kitchen were short on places to sit.

Be prepared for stairs

Great hospitality from Ana the host. Perfect location and a very relaxing stay.

The cozy one-room apartment offers a stunning sea view. The bathroom is small but functional. The beach is about 130 steps down the stairs, which adds a nice touch of charm. Ana is a wonderful host with great tips for restaurants and excursions. Her delicious pancakes sweetened our mornings twice and were a real highlight. The walls are a bit thin, so we could often hear the neighbors’ conversations or their TV – and also noticed when they left at 4 a.m.
