I had wanted to visit Venice during Carnival for a long time, and this trip turned out to be quite spontaneous. Because of that, accommodation prices for my dates were very high. I only had a choice between two or three hotels, and I decided to stay at Silk Road because it was the most reasonably priced option for one person. The conditions were not luxurious, but everything necessary was provided, and it was perfectly comfortable for my stay.
What impressed me the most, however, was the kindness and friendliness of the girl who welcomed me. She was incredibly warm, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions or requests. On my last day, she even helped me carry my luggage to the bus stop. I had so many things that, honestly, I don’t know how I would have managed without her help. I am truly grateful to her for this care and support.
I sincerely hope to return soon, this time with my husband, and stay in the room with the most wonderful view.
P.S. I really wanted to say all of this in person, but my level of English did not allow me to express everything properly. I hope that by my next visit I will improve it and have the opportunity to communicate more.

Wir wahren im Februar!!!Kalte Boden und Wasser in der Dusche nicht richtig heiß,ich empfehle Hausschuhe und warmes Pyjama mitzunehmen sonnst alles super!

Amazing tidy and cozy place to stay and a nice neighbourhood!

The place was located in front of Giudecca, with a beautiful view of the island. The San Basilio waterbus stop was less than 1 minute walking from there! The person welcoming us was extremely nice.
The furnitures were extremely essential and slightly damaged. The beds were not as comfy as we hoped: the mattresses seemed old, and the rest of the room seemed older. The towels were not included and the kitchen can be used only from 18:00 to 21:00 (and only the microwave).
