A nice hotel- great value

We really liked the comfort of the bed and room. The modern bathroom had plenty of hot water with good pressure. Breakfast was well appointed. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Ski room lockers were great. We traveled by car. Parking was on site and only a 5 minute drive to the Gondola. The price of the room was a great value for the area and for the hotel.

We were traveling as a couple, but usually are with a few other friends or family. As there is no common room to socialize in, coming with a group may be limiting because of this. The reception area, which is where the tables for breakfast are was not available for use after 10. So if you do take out, you’ll be eating in your room and picnicking on the bed as there is not a table in the room. Rooms could use a few hooks for ski gears and possibly a bench at the end of the bed for suitcases. FYI-access to the rooms are via a circular concrete staircase, exposed to the elements. We are in our late 60’s and did manage getting our gear up there in the snow.

A nice b&b - great value

Nice and quiet house, our rooms had a view to street outside of village. Private parking. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was perfect for us and always with good service. We got all information when we asked.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were exceptionally spacious, clean and confortable.

The rooms were exceptionally spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable, which made our stay relaxing after long days outdoors. The facilities were well maintained and thoughtfully designed, everything worked smoothly and met our expectations.

That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. Breakfast was good in terms of quality, but it could have been more generous and varied, especially considering a full day of mountain or ski activities ahead. Also, the ski boot storage locker had a small inconvenience: the heating system only worked on the upper part, so the lower pair of boots remained wet and cold, which was not ideal.

Very nice accomodation for skiing in Cervinia area.

A Beautiful premise. Great combination of tradional Alpine design with modern interpretation. Spacios room and bathroom, very comfortable. Nice Owner who was informative and helpful before and during our stay. Good and quite satisfying breakfast and available attached free parking spot. The place was very clean, and they filled the room with bottles of water and coffee pods every day. It's also only 12min drive from the Valtornanche ski cable car that connects you to Cervinia-Zermat. Also with free parking and good ski renatal options.

The place is located on the main road just at the entrance to the village. This making opening the windows almost impossible due to the noise of the cars accelerating through the steep courve - flooding the room with noise at all hours. If you keep the windows close though - they keep the room very quiet. We'd love to have vegtables and eggs for breakfast but I'm affraid that this is uncommon in those areas. Also there's no closet in the room - something that you see in many modern hotels nowadays and personally we don't like at all. You have only open hangers and shelves and your suitcase. What we really didn't like had nothing to do with the hotel - the village has very little to offer after skiing hours - practically from 5pm until 8am. Few restaurants. some of which are good, some not. I believe in summer the village has a lot more to offer.

The old house form outside really transformed in a modern place from inside, Breakfast was poor, but who is used to Italian breakfast might seem even OK. You have to use the car to get to the centrum in restaurant area, but if you are not to tired you might go on foot also.

Perfect mountain escape

The property was immaculate and the rooms had such a warm feeling to them. The room was spacious with ample lighting and power connections. It was great to have a smart TV in the room to look at our photos during the evening.

Exceptional

Great place with thought-through modern/natural design. Beautiful view from the window, overlooking the valley! Spacious rooms and great host. Waterfall right under the side window. Fantastic big bath where our kids had a lot of fun before going to sleep! All perfect! Will be happy to go back if we have a chance!

Good Ski Lodge

This is most comfortable, well appointed, modern and clean hotel I've stayed in, in a ski resort. The rooms are large with flat screen TV, nespresso, kettles and plenty of.hanging space. The bathrooms are large with great walk in showers and double sinks. Breakfast is limited but good quality. The lady who runs the Lodge is very pleasant and helpful.

We stayed 5 days. One of the reasons we booked the hotel was that they had a shuttle service to/from the ski lifts. This wasn't available for two days which was inconvenient. The Lodge is also a good walk to the local restaurants.

No lounge area in the hotel so basically when I’m the hotel you are restricted to a room which was only heated at certain times with cold harsh furnishings. not really my cup of tea

Location is remote, a walk uphill along busy road with no pavement to valtournenche town. Closest Ski lift is another 5-10 mins out of town in the other direction, and without a car you may struggle here.

a "guest house" should include the host liking to host guests. This does not seem to be the case. This guest house has really excellent rooms, yet the general atmosphere is poor and hospitality is even poorer. And so potential is not materialized.

We were here in April for winter sports. :)

The host was amazing, the room was beautiful and clean. These were the best things about the accommodation, however, we have a hard time mentioning anything about it that wasn't good! Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay!

If we really must say something, it would be the distance to the lift. If you don't have a car, it might take a bit of time till you get there, however, for us this did not mean a really big problem either!
