The aesthetic effect was a plus. The apartment spacious and comfortable, and ideal for a family.
I was not aware that the hosts live on the same property. This was not shared on the booking. The conditions of stay, disclaimers etc, I did not appreciate. It felt like a tenant/landlord transaction. I have a personal space condition of my own, and if I'm paying for accommodation, I don't want the feeling of my privacy being interfered with. The parking was not convenient, and my wife felt uncomfortable moving our vehicle in that confined space. The fact that we had to clean the apartment, as a condition of stay, I thought was rather uncalled for. We would clean the space anyway, but to be told is another thing. I would expect that if you're using the place for guest stays, this would be done afterwards anyway. My recommendation would be to convert this accommodation to airbnb, with a 360 view on ratings.
