Great Pool Great location forget the rest !

Single best thing about this place is the pool very good and long.

Rooms are old tired and run down needs a massive clean up, to meet standards.

DO NOT STAY HERE

I didn't like anything, the room was looking like a hunted house, probably was never cleaned in years. The pic in booking app do not correspond to the reality at all. In the pic you can see.it is.a.modest place, and for us was OK, but when we arrive their we had a very bad surprise. Being modest its ok, but being nasty its not.

Was really really really dirty!!! Shower was with stains, toilet dirty, sheets with stains, the wall had better days, the curtains ripped.. I don't have enough words to describe how bad it was. Pool was dirty, tiles broken.. in the pic from booking you see a very nice and cosy outdoor space, well its not cosy, its dirty and broken. The red sofas don't exist.. the staff smokes in the reception, they lay down in the reception sofa like they are at home, and they were making so much noise at night. Breakfast was very limited.. We complain about everything, they gave us a deluxe bedroom, but still, was dirty. We could not humdle it more then 3 nights... we ended up loosing our money and forced to change hotels

Looked good in photos

Linen was stained on arrival and bathroom surfaces unclean. Was shown a second room which was the same. Stayed 1 night of 3 and went to a different hotel. No refund has been received as yet.

Location was convenient.

The rooms are outdated. At first I was placed in a room that was mouldy...and a damped smell. This is not a joke. I asked to move to a different room. They showed me 2 different room, 1 was worse and the other was better so I took the one a bit better. I booked the hotel for 9 nights. On my 6th nights at this hotel, they asked me to move from my room. 2 different staff members were talking to me with 2 different reasons. 1. They needed to fix the air-conditioning; 2. They needed to renovate the room beside my room at night time. I was open to their requests and we looked at 3 rooms which all of them were in worse conditions compared to the first room that I was allocated to. I decided to say no and that they can do what they any work needed to be done when I am gone. Which they agreed to.

Never again

I used to love this hotel but the last two times I’ve stayed it has severely disappointed. The rooms melt like moth balls and the pool lounged replaced by bean bags.

Large groups of men hang around the pool all night drinking and being loud. All night. There doesn’t seem to be security to deter them. I forgot this happened last night and then booked two years later and the same thing. Unsure if they are locals or staff? There is 24hr reception and what I called at 2am they did clear the area but I feel it’s disrespectful to let it happen in the first place. When I got up at 5am to go to the airport a couple in the next room we’re arriving home and screaming at each other, I mean screaming. This went on for at least 30mins until I left the hotel, all within ear shot of reception and no one did anything. I won’t be staying here again, as a lone traveler I didn’t feel safe there. They need to step up.

Pleasant

The location was great, really central to lots of food and drink places without being right in the middle of all the chaos. The bed was also super comfy.

I got given a free upgrade which meant I ended up on the ground floor near the reception. Every morning I would get woken up by people going past my window noisily. I also couldn't have the curtain open as I was in full view of everyone, this meant the room felt very dark and depressing. The shower head was clogged with limescale and meant the shower wasn't as powerful or effective. I was told breakfast was served 7-10am, I went there both days at 9am and there was practically nothing there. What was left was not appealing and I did request to take off the breakfast option so I could eat elsewhere but was told I couldn't.

rooms had thin walls so you can hear everything. moldy smell in the rooms but for the money I paid I wasn’t expecting 5 stars 😂

The staff were very accommodating when I wanted to cancel my stay and when I wanted to switch rooms

I found it dirty to the point of unhygienic . I appreciate that perhaps the hotel doesn’t have the funds to update certain things such as the seating area around the pool, but an improvement in general cleanliness would really make a difference. if there aren’t enough cleaners perhaps they can close some of the rooms and focus on quality rather than quantity. it also smelled of smoke.
