Romantic maisonette

Wonderful location and spacious apartment, very well equipped and with a lovely balcony with table and chaire off the upstairs bedroom. Teens were pleased to have their own rooms after a week of having to share. Washing machine in bathroom was a bonus. Piran is car free, but it was easy to park for an hour to unload the car then park it in the car park on the outskirts and get the free shuttle bus. Piran is beautiful with great restaurants – we enjoyed Tri Vdove, Pino Pizzeria and the gelato at Mersii – and shops (loved Gooda Gooda, but my wallet didn't!).

There was no aircon in the downstairs bedrooms and it was HOT! My daughter ended up sleeping on the sofa as she couldn't cope. The stairs are abundant and steep and the stairwell is dark (lights go out after too short a time) – unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues or large cases (we took our smaller cases and packing cubes from the larger two). Apartment itself has a staircase with no handrail up to the bedroom and balcony, so beware if you have vertigo/balance issues. Essential info booklet needs rewriting/typing as it has water damage and WiFi code is a bit confusing. There was a problem with the fridge and hosts were responsive.

Die Lage ist total toll. Piran ist eine wunderschöne Stadt. Die Ferienwohnung hatte Klima. Wir hatten 12 Tage super Wetter.

La climatisation sentait très mauvais. Les explications de l’hôte n’étaient pas claires sur le fonctionnement des navettes: les navettes sont payantes et pas gratuites. L’hôte pourrait déclarer les voyageur avoir d’avoir la gratuité des navettes
