Extremely well priced and good value for money, however, you get what you pay for.

It was in a good spot, back away from the street and the AC worked really well with the fan.

The bed was super uncomfortable with springs, shower ran out of hot water very fast and it wasn’t the cleanest place at all.

Its small and cozy, I stayed at room 3, they have a kitchen inside, fridge, washroom and working table with mattress (no bed)

Although they do provide a kitchen and stove but we are supposed to pay for the gas Its not really a guesthouse just a narrow street that leads to this room, can park your bike outside the room but it cause bit congestion on the street

Kris Kos was perfect for me :) * Stuff - beautiful people in Kris Kos (thank you Aldi, you are the best and the most caring host! thank you Komang and the team! You guys made me feel cared and at home) * Location - Nelayan is probably my fav in Canggu close to everything, pharmacy is 1 min walk, new K-mart 2 min walk, Pepito & Frestive 3 min drive, many cafes & resto walking distance, beach - 7 min walk * Calm - 1 min from the road but it's really quiet especially at night * Clean & tidy - every Monday & Thursday my room was perfectly cleaned * Access to Serenity facilities: the best massage in the area (Sinta is an amazing master), pool, small botanical garden, delicious vegan breakfast with discount price, high speed Wi-Fi * My fav Coworking was just 1 min away

* to set speed bumps - the street in front of the guesthouse is narrow, it makes the sound from every bike moving fast really loud. with the speed bump the drivers won't be able to speed up and won't make much noise * the was a slot between the entrance door and the floor, when smb was smoking outside the smell was getting into the room

The Location is very good as it’s right in the centre. The staff was really friendly and you get a discount on the breakfast and yoga classes at the serenity hotel. The breakfast is really nice (100% vegan!). It’s very basic room but fine for two nights.

It’s a bit complicated at first to know where you have to check in. The room is a few minutes of walking away from the hostel where you have to check in. Same with the serenity where the breakfast and yoga is.

A fab place to stay if you need cheap accommodation in a great location

Had everything we needed, was in such a great location, walking distance from the beach and clubs. Staff were so lovely, it was incredibly cheap in comparison to everywhere else in Canguu and we had a great stay!

It was a little bit grubby, however for the price we did not care

Cheap room, with a warm shower, decent size - and the first property I've been to in SE Asia with a mosquito net. Rooms were cleaned every day, free water and cooking stove etc. Comes with a safe too - which is rare for this pricepoint. Decent enough location for nearby cafes and restaurants, and the famous beach clubs are about a km away, so very easy to get to via a Grab.

Pillows smelt like they were very old, despite having new covers on. Privacy was a bit of a surprise when I had the light on in the evening when I went for a nap and didn't put a curtain across, it was like sleeping in broad daylight. Kris Kos was actually sold out when I arrived, so I was put in their sister hostel about 200m down the road, which was not expected.

Good location, quiet and private, cleaned every day, helpful staff, fridge in room. Good value for money.

Tinted windows + lack of natural sunlight was nice for sleeping & privacy, but it also made for a dull vibe during the day. The check-in process was confusing: you have to check in (and out) at Serenity Eco down the road, but these instructions aren't explicitly provided when booking. However, if you contact them via WhatsApp, they'll send some awesome staff down to Kris Kos to help you check in.

clean, mosquito net, run by Serenity so you get discounts on their services (e.g breakfast, yoga etc).

Hard to find at night - need to check in with Serenity and then they will drop you to Kris Kos :)

Pleasant

In the center, closed by the beach, very cheap.

Not so much space in the room for put your luggage, and you can listen all your nabers. But beside that it was very oke for the money.

Could be a hidden gem with some care

Location is the best part- walkable to many things including the beach, gyms and restaurants. The pool access at serenity is nice. It was nice that it included a hot plate and some dishes and a fridge- which was clean. The AC was good.

I recognize that it does explain that cleaning is extra- however, I feel for the price (3 million+ for a 24 day stay), it was disappointing that it didn't include fresh towels or bed linen or a single clean for 24 days. As a result, it obviously got quite dirty. The family next door has a gentleman who coughs so hard he throws up every single morning, so its an unfortunate thing to hear every day. Not a single hot shower in 24 days. Many ants and cockroaches, which could be helped with more frequent cleans- or some chemicals- which I know they are eco friendly, but at the cost of guests squashing cockroaches. It advertises "access to pool and facilities at Serenity"- it is just the pool. You pay for classes, food and amenities like everyone else and staff were very confused every time I went to use the pool. Its a shame they don't put a bit more care into the place- it could be a really great little spot. I just personally feel like pricetag doesn't reflect the quality of the room or facilities offered, or even any care given at all. It should be about half the price.

Staff was so helpful and friendly and yoga trainers as well. Very close to the most of the attractions in Canggu. Vegan restaurant with yoga center. Swimming pool, massage and other facilities were nice

There were some problems of course when u pay less. First 5 days, I stayed in Kris Kos. I totally understand it s eco friendly but it was quite hard for me to sleep with different types of bugs in my room. The room was clean but they kept coming from outside. I had 4 bugs on the floor one night. The second thing, my ceiling was made of wooden. So whomever walks in up floor, I got so afraid and woke up thousand times I am not paranoid or drama queen but because in the Middle of your sleep, you freak out when you hear voices like someone walking in your room. It was so strong like boomm. The rest 5 days, I stayed in Serene as they have availability there. I was so happy that the room was much more clean but this time, the roosters! OMG! So many of them and they were not crowing only in the morning around 5 6 a.m, I swear almost whole day non-stop, these noises driving you crazy. Sometimes ı was trying to nap in the afternoon, they were crowing maybe for an hour or more than that!
