Clean, safe, great location.

The location was great! Right by the bus and tram stop and just a couple miles from city center. It was safe, clean, and the staff was nice. The room had everything we needed to be comfortable.

I think for the price, we couldn't do better than this. This is not a complaint but an FYI for future travelers, the only elevator is very small. It fits 1 person and a piece of luggage. We only used it for check in/out days to avoid carrying luggage on the stairs.

Location, location, location and the laundry facilities.

The administrate staff were not often available, not even in the office - one found nobody for the questions. When they are helpful, reluctantly. Except Ahmad, who constantly made an effort to help. I booked a stay for eleven days. Half ways, I thought I might need to extend my stay for a couple of days so I asked them to let me know in time if it was ok. Yes, they lingered. On the very last day I was told to vacate my room, as they already booked it days ago for the next guest. Done, but why shouldn't they let me know earlier?

Excellent location! Friendly and helpful staff:) Love having the small kitchen in the room. I had a nice quiet room with a lovely view. Everything was clean! Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. If I return to Zurich I will definitely stay here!! Oh and it has laundry facilities!

It is a perfect location to tram.

Clean, plenty of room for two, everything worked, and helpful staff.

Convenient to transportation, market, pharmacy, and restaurants. It was safe with outside doors as well as key to your personal room. The neighborhood was well lit and close to lake.

Zurich short stay

I didn't see any staff. The accommodation was ok, but the room was a bit hot and humid. There was a fan. However, air conditioning would have been better.

Okay for a short stay

Location is okay, quiet area, a store nearby. There is a kitchen and kettle which is convenient if you do not want to eat out all the time. The bed is okay.

The lights in the bathroom functioned poorly that annoyed me all the time. No blackout curtains or any proper curtains to enjoy some privacy from the office building in front of the hotel. There was no compliment tea, coffee, salt or oil. While I was looking for some tea , the door fell on me (I’m glad it did not break hot plate or something). Also took me some time to figure out how to open and close door with this modern auto lock. The review is so detailed as it is not exactly budget place so I think it was not a best experience for me considering the price.

The location is perfect and the hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful stay

Rooms are a bit small, but not unmanageably so. Lift is also tiny. There is no ac or ceiling fan. The one pedestal fan in the room was not enough and the room got quite hot often

Location good, near bus and tram and supermarket and lake. Didn't have breakfast. It felt safe and central to do things.

Good value accommodation in a good location

Very good location at a good price for that location.

One window did not open securely so had to shut it completely when out. One window did not have a mosquito net. Only one very thin pillow per person. There was no air conditioning and it was very hot. There were absolutely no instructions in the apartment, which would have been useful to operate the microwave/grill and to find out more about the local area.

Good location

No air conditioning Couldn’t sleep due to how hot the property got Asked for additional fan and didn’t get one. Other people in our group had air conditioning unit and two large fans. All paid the same amount and the rooms all varied in size massively

Very clean, provided everything we required all in excellent working order.

Good option in Zurich near the lake and city

Good info in advance. Easy to find and get to (#2 or 4 tram from city). Smooth automated check-in but staff on-site. Working lift to apartment. Relatively spacious apartment with twin beds but perhaps too much furniture, esp. the very large coffee. Clean, tidy and fairly quiet. Kitchen was well equipped, incl. toaster, dish cloth and detergent. Shower and wifi were good, bed OK. Fan but no aircon. Shutters to block out early sun and heat. Good laundry in basement. Coop supermarket across the road; Migros a block further. Beautiful lakefront and swimming 5-10 minutes walk down the street. Short walk or tram ride to city centre. Would stay again noting comments below - and considering proximity to lake and city and facilities and cleanliness.

It was 30+ degrees C when we stayed. Our room was hot, esp as it faced west. No aircon but there was a fan that helped, but still hot. The beds were comfortable but hot at night - I think they was some kind of foam rubber overlay. There was some noise from outside, esp. from 6 am, as there were recycling bins, roads and a supermarket. The windows closed out most of the noise if shut, but this reduced airflow when it was very hot. You had to make a trade-off. These should not be issues when the weather is cooler. You are encouraged to recycle, which is commendable, but no dedicated bin or clear instructions, esp. for paper. That said, there are plenty of recycling bins outside (except for paper).

Best stay so far on my European tour.

Fantastic location. Across the street from a grocery store, a pharmacy, and the streetcar station. 5 minute walk from Lake Zurich. 10 minute walk from Alstadt, Old Town, and surrounded by shops and cafes and restaurants. I could not have asked for a better location. Also, the entire staff was kind and helpful, especially Marley...Thanks Marley.

I overlooked the fact that there is no air conditioning, but with the windows open and the fan, it was manageable.

Felt at home Felt at home

The location is great, close to the tram, or 15 minutes walk to the opera. Check in and out is very easy and practical. We needed a socket conversor and the staff immediately arranged it. Clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette with all the items you may need for a short stay. We felt at home! Would definitely come back.

There is only a very small lift, so I guess accessibility can be a bit compromised if chair wheels are needed. Which wasn't the case, just trying to help others.

A great find - would stay again!

The property was in a really nice location with a very nice vibe Italian restaurant and bar across the street. The no 4 tram stopped right outside which took is everywhere we needed to go. There was a laundry room so we could do some washing (we were inter-railing so limited luggage). The place was absolutely immaculately clean. Spotless. The owner/manager should be very proud.

Can’t find much to fault. The lift was very tiny - that’s about it.

Quiet abode close to the lake and gardens

We loved the location in a lovely residential neighborhood just a couple of blocks from the lake. We walked everywhere, but trams and buses stopped nearby. There was a supermarket on the corner and the kitchenette was in good condition. We liked having breakfast on the balcony looking out at a nice green space. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was quiet and clean.

There was no coffee maker in the room, but there is a coffee machine in the lobby. If one asks at the reception desk, one can get a coffeemaker for the room. I would put a sign in the room suggesting that people request things that might be missing, as the staff was very friendly and willing to lend things out that way, e.g. a plug, a safe...

Straightforward check-in/out process, nice-looking stairs and halls. Helpful and very nice staff. Close to a tram and lakeside with nice Chinese garden and children playground.

Small room, small elevator, no coffee machine in the room, washing machines & coffe machines accept only CHF coins, no exchange machine. Air in the room very dusty, probably not cleaned thoroughly. Need to reserve parking (only 2 spots? not sure how they were both free).

Nice room with kitchen in a great location.

Clean and tidy and ready early for us. Great little kitchen facilities and nice room in a great location. Easy to catch public transport from the main train station, or walk, and close to the beautiful lake. Co-op supermarket across the road. Friendly staff. Highly recommend and ai would stay there again.

Basic apartment in excellent location

Small and basic accommodation in excellent location right in the heart of Seefeld. The room was an older-style one with three singles bed, which means that there wasn't much room to move around inside the room. The kitchenette had everything you would need and there was a small fridge. Helpful and friendly staff.

The beds were too soft and uncomfortable for either my or my partner's liking.

Excellent location and room managed by pleasant people, eager to make you have a special stay.

The location is very good, close to the opera house in Zurich, the important tourist sights of the city, the Stadelhofen train station (approx. 15 min), the botanical garden (approx. 10 min.) and 5 minutes from the lake shore. The apartment is part of a building with several rooms that are managed professionally by discreet but extremely kind people (we had a small problem with the drainage of the shower cabine which was solved quickly and promptly). The room is very well equipped with a small kitchenette that has crockery, cutlery and a microwave oven,ecc.

The mattresses of the beds as well as the pillows were not very comfortable and the umbrella on the balcony needs to be repaired. Otherwise all good.

It was close to a bus stop, which made it very easy to get everywhere.

They need to put blackout blinds or any thicker blind on the windows. The lights from the building across the street fill your room with light all night long.
