Wonderful! 🥰

What a wonderful place to stay! We were greeted with a warm smile and a handshake to everyone in our group. Our two rooms were thoughtfully rearranged so that they were next to each other. There were too many extras to even mention; nightlight in the bathroom, robe and slippers, umbrella in the closet, refrigerator, microwave, and accessories, etc. and when we were checking out, the whole staff/family came and said goodbye. I love these people!

There is absolutely nothing I can think of to offer as a negative critique. Only I wish we had stayed here sooner.

All in all we enjoyed and found convenient our short stay here. Highly recommend it.

The location was excellent for exploring, with interesting sites reachable by foot and being very near the main tramline to the old city. The price was very good and the room was spotless and nicely appointed.

We had to take our luggage up 2 flights of curving stairs. Also, the only bedding was a heavy comforter which was too warm. (But we found this to be true most places we stayed.) The sink was not by the toilet but across the room.

Almost perfect for our needs!

Location was perfect for our needs. The apartment was reasonably priced, spotlessly clean, and had all of the comforts of home. We were also able to park our car at a reasonable price for Zürich. The property is close to the lake, the botanical gardens, the Chinagarten, and a park. There are two grocery stores within walking distance, a drug store next door, several good nearby restaurants, and a couple of great bakeries very close. The tram stops just outside. We enjoyed the proprietors, who were very friendly, attentive, helpful, and professional. I would book again.

It can be a bit noisy. The area around the apartment is busy, and if there are people in an apartment over yours, you will probably hear their footsteps. Also, parking is very limited, so definitely reserve early if you need a space.

Highly recommended place to stay in Zurich

A very pleasant and charming family hotel. The owner made everything possible to provide us with the best service, and always with a smile and a desire to help and assist in any way. The apartment was clean, tidy and equipped with everything needed for a stay. The location is excellent, both in terms of proximity to the city center and lake, public transportation and proximity to a supermarket and a great bakery to start the day. We will definitely recommend it warmly to all our friends and sure to stay again on our next trip

Perfect Location - comforts of home!

the owner has thought of everything! there is a robe and slippers for you, there is soap and lotion, there is a tiny fridge and a microwave, along with a simple set of kitchen goods (cutting board, dish towel, dish soap, cutlery, cup, mug, corkscrew) and even a USB cord and a power adapter in case anything has been forgotten. they are so kind and the location is perfect! the room is small but that was what I had expected -- I had not expected it to be so thoughtfully designed and set up for me! the shower was also hot and powerful, bathroom clean, and they held my heavy bag for me while I explored the following day.

Lovely stay, Close to everything

The hotel was 15 minute walk so close to downtown and transit was steps away. Apartment was very clean and well-appointed. Staff were eager and helpful.

Being close to Main Street, there was some traffic noise during the late evening.

Little gem in the heart of the Seefeld neighborhood

Location, facilities, room. All perfect for a relaxing dip into all Zurich has to offer. Seefeld neighborhood has some great gems and is walking distance to many natural landmarks of the gold coast.

Honestly, everything was perfect for this little city get-away. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. Thank you!

Perfect room

The room was super clean, it had all the facilities and was really comfy and nice. I asked if I could leave my luggage so I don't have to carry it around town until check-in, and the host said I could check-in earlier. The host greeted me and was approachable and professional. Stayed for only one night, wish I could stay more.

Great place to enjoy a stay in Zurich!

The owner of the hotel was lovely and the hotel itself was very clean, cozy and the location couldn't be better situated. I chose the economy room with the shared bathroom (as described on the website) and was very pleased with my choice. The toilet and shower that where shared were very clean and I never even met another guest using the shower - so no wait time at all. The room is equipped with a sink, a hairdryer, a bathrobe, a microwave, a small fridge, a ventilator for hot summer nights and an adapter for those who forgot that Switzerland has different power outlets than e.g. austria (I'm speaking of myself.. I forgot that 😅). There is a busstation right in front of the hotel and it's only a short walk by foot to the lake. All in all it was a great stay and I'm looking forward to visiting the Aparthotel from family Hugenschmidt again 😊

For me it was not a problem at all, but i guess elderly people or people with special needs could have a problem with the stairs (I think there was no elevator).

Great hotel for a visit to Zurich.

Perfect location for our visit to Zurich. We could walk along the lake into the city centre in 15-20 minutes. Also right next to tram/bus stop for easy access all over city. Room was large and comfortable with mini fridge kettle and crockery. Very quiet. Laundry facilities if you need them. Many good cafes and restaurants nearby.

Wow. You will not find a more immaculate hotel anywhere. Our room (#12) was a corner room with two large windows and a very large comfortable bed. The huge beautifully appointed bathroom had another large window…and was, of course, absolutely gleaming. The hotel is in a lovely upscale neighbourhood steps to the tram and a few blocks to the lake with lots of grocery, bakery and cafes nearby. And to to top it off, the mom and daughter team who own and manage the hotel are absolutely delightful. Highly recommended.

A quiet neighborhood close to the lake and well communicated with the central city. Very clean. Friendly staff. The large bathroom with good quality towels. The neighborhood had a good range of restaurants and a nice bakery nearby for breakfast.

A superb choice for a comfortable stay in Zurich

The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed and exceptionally well cleaned, the cleanliness and tidiness puts most 5 star hotels to shame. The location is excellent, just a short tram ride to Zurich HB. The host was superb and very helpful with local tips and making our stay comfortable.

It can get a bit noisy outside on Friday and Saturday nights until about midnight, we closed the windows and turned on the AC which worked quite well and blocked most of noise so wasn't a big issue for us.
