If you go to Telavi, you should definitely stay at Neli and Zaal’s. A beautiful property with a fabulous breakfast and Neli and Zaal were the kindest and most welcoming of hosts. It was lovely to sit up with Zaal and learn more about about Georgia whilst tasting his delicious wine and chacha. There are two excellent value restaurants within a short walk and it is an easy walk down the hill into the old part of Telavi to see the Plane Tree and the fortress. It is also an easy drive out to visit vineyards and other sights such as Gremi.

Nothing - it was the perfect introduction to guesthouses in Georgia.

Beautiful family run house in a quiet area of town with great views , and lovely garden to sit in . Hosts were amazing Zaal and Neli were amazing hosts , they warmly welcomed us to their house , offered us home made wine , fruits and delicious food . Breakfast was also delicious and abundant , and coffee machine to help yourself for espresso! Zaal showed us his wine cellar , and shared with us how he learnt the skill of wine making from his grandfather , the amber wine was superb . Zaal also helped us organize an itinery for a perfect day trip around Telavi

One of the friendliest and most hospitable hosts I’ve ever met. Like you are visiting your good family friends. Facilities are really good, house is beautiful, home made breakfasts - what else can one wish for?
