Basic but perfect if en route

Ibis budget is not about soft comfy beds but all about good value for money. Basic amenities and strategic location make this hotel a great choice if en route.

Perfect one night on the road stay

Very clean and and the double bed was a full mattress, not two mattresses pushed together. The self check in was very easy and comfortable. It was great to also have free parking right by the hotel as we were traveling by car on our way to Spain. The location was perfect for our itinerary, so we didn't have to go too far off the road.

Someone was clearly smoking inside the rooms, so there was a smell in the corridor, but not in our room. Also, I messaged the hotel but they never got back to me, it was not an issue but it would have been good to get a reply to my question.

absolutely Spartan - toilet stall open top and bottom to the rest of the room - shower in the middle of the room - everything plastic - depressing kind of bunk for truckers

Not worth the price savings.

The staff probably would've been helpful with our problem (see below), but we were so sleepy and worn out, we didn't try to reach out in the middle of the night. Check in and breakfast were adequate.

The bunk bed, which was positioned directly over the double bed, was ENORMOUSLY squeaky and hard to sleep through motion. There was almost zero room around the beds - way too tight for comfort, and possibly unsafe. What's worst, the room was enormously hot, like something was wrong, and opening the window and attempting to use the A/C didn't help. This didn't occur until the middle of the night, and when I mentioned it at check out, the manager didn't say much and made no effort to comp part of our stay or even apologize. He might not have understood me - I don't speak French.

Good value for the price. You get what you expect from a budget hotel, no more, but without anything to complain about. The rooms are clean, recent and the staff sympathetic. Sound insulation is also better than the average motel.

The room was small but clean; the bed was good, free parking, free internet working well. Breakfast with very limited choices but good coffee. Nice staff.

You made my day!

The hotel provides a late arrival option, which was very, very important to us, but what is unfortunately not the standard for most of the other hotels in the corner. So, you made our day. The cost/performance ratio was fair. You can’t expect a 5-star hotel for this rate.

Upon our arrival, there was a (big) group of (we guess Polish) men in front of the night entrance. That is nothing for what the hotel is responsible for, but a bit strange for us, as it was not clear if this people belongs to the hotel (guests or staff) and if they’re friendly or not.

Not enough power points and in odd locations. Light switch for whole room. No individual light for bathroom. Disturbed all to use facilities at night.

Ideal hotel for a business trip.

The hotel is located just off the motorway, making it ideal for a business trip. The check-in took place without assistance, only using a vending machine. The accommodation provided everything that was needed.

I don't remember anything I didn't like.
