photos looked promising but do not match reality, needs to be renovated

friendly staff, bed ok, location is perfect and outside looks welcoming

not really clean, dark room, needs to be redone (at least paint), window not airtight, heating only through AC which is noisy (fan), toilet seat broken, toilet not clean, no WC door (only a curtain) which might be ok if traveling alone, electric and light from last century (in a bad way), parking not reachable due to Christmas market (didn't know that when booking)

High hopes but fell short due to tired fittings and the leaking air-con. Bit hard to find.

The initial welcome was very good - the receptionist was very pleasant and opened the garage door for us to bring the motorcycles into the secure parking. The room is fairly spacious. There is apparently a pool and sauna but did not use these.

The air conditioning unit was welcomed during our stay... But not that it leaked water onto the floor by the main door of our room! Went down to inform reception staff - they acknowledged the issue but when pressed if someone would go up to investigate/ fix, they just said there is no one to address it. I got more towels to lay down to mop up the puddle, but it dropped all night and made exiting our room difficult: you needed to limbo around the drips! On check out we needed to ask for a price adjustment on our bill - initially just 9 Euros being taken off for parking, eventually increased to about 20% of our bill. Just a pity we needed to argue for it rather than being offered... Also, some of the fittings in the room were lose, which gives it a bit of a shabby appearance. Didn't have breakfast as thought it was dear for 14 Euros. Other than that, it is in the town centre which is great once you've found it.

Pleasant stay in town centre

The hotel is centrally located with bars and restaurants just round the corner on the Main Street. It has its own secure parking and rooms are large. The bathroom was large, but the curtain across the toilet area was just plain weird!

Getting to the hotel to park is difficult due to pedestrian and one-way streets. The hotel is showing signs of age, the wardrobe in our room had no handles and the bed was very soft. Children running in the corridors wasn’t good and the lighting in the corridor to our room was non-existent, or wasn’t working.

basic correct stay for a step.

The possibility to have a parking, the kindness of the satff, the central location.

We booked a double bed and received 2 twins (no other choice), there is no elevator but the satff don't propose help to bring luggage upstairs ( she was alone) what would have been appreciated (cardiac person); carpets in the stairs and corridors are durty, Rooms was 1st floor on street side and music was playing in the resto-terrasse just under our room all afternoon and evening ( not possble to make a nap), breakfast was correct but nothing special. A bit expensive for this.

For me was all ok for French standards. The rooms are old, a blinder was damaged, and there was a hazard in the pool ( something in the floor of the pool was damaged). Besides thar for the price I m fine with it.

Really good place to stay in Montbeliard

VEry comfortable room, good central location in town. The pool and sauna were a real bonus, especially becuase the weather was pretty lousy. So a lovely warm swimming pool and the sauna, and we had thm both to ourselves - perfect!

Great hotel in central Montbeliard

Great location in central Montbeliard less than 200m from the train station. Parking in secure car park now €8 for a night. Very nice room - well equipped and comfortable. Special mention to Emilie on reception who had answered all my pre arrival queries and was helpful in the extreme.

The water pressure in the shower was quite low but not disastrously so. And not the fault not the hotel but the selfish couple who decided to have rather loud, though thankfully brief, sex at 2am didn’t make for an unbroken night’s sleep.

In the City centrum, Close to train station.

I had the superior 🤔 room in front of parking space, which was actually previously a garage box. There was some noise coming On and off from outside the whole night. Furniture and equipment was new, but the smell was not nice. Breakfast was OK, cofee was good, they had fresh orange juice.

Good hotel. Secure parking area to lock our bicycles. Swimming pool and sauna. Very close to the center and train station.

Our room was very small. The mattress felt a bit worn out. Wifi kept cutting out on the second floor.
