"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One of the highlights was renting a scooter so that we could explore the entire island. If you’re not a scooter fan you can also rent a car or a side-by-side..."

About this bed and breakfast

Our Quaint Guest House is located in a Historic Subdivision. The main house was in 1938. A true Bahamian experience you can walk to Bakeries, Historic Sites, Downtown and Paradise Island. Junkanoo Beach is located 1.5 Miles from the house where you can see the Cruise Ships in Port and eat at local restaurants. Getting to the house is easy as we are located right off Shirley Street. The location of the house really lends itself to those who want to explore Nassau with sidewalks heading East on Shirley Street and West on Bay Street which is one street over. The Cottage and Main House sit behind a walled yard that is classic Bahamian Style, with lush gardens. On occasion you will find tours coming through our neighborhood as it is a great example of Classic Bahamian architecture.
The cottage is a 225 Sq. Ft. Studio and includes a queen size bed, bathroom with a shower and Kitchenette. The Kitchenette includes glasses, plates, cutlery and cooking utensils. There is Breakfast table overlooking the picket fence and Bougainvillea.
In the fridge you will find Goombay Punch Soda & Water There is also tea and coffee -
The stove is propane with a pilot light if you have any problems let us know the water heater is an instant water heater Luggage goes on top of the closet and there is a small step stool under the sink.
Quirkiness of an Old House There is no plug in the bathroom - an extension cord is provided for your convenience.
There is parking available if you decide to rent a car.
As a matter of note a French Bulldog lives on Property

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One of the highlights was renting a scooter so that we could explore the entire island. If you’re not a scooter fan you can also rent a car or a side-by-side. Just down the road the home was clean and comfortable. Good air conditioning, but without transportation was a must

We had a wonderful experience staying here. The use of the kitchen greatly cut down our food costs and we had all the comforts of a hotel. Anything needed (lounge chairs , towels, shampoo, etc.) was provided and then some. We enjoyed our privacy as well as being included in the use of the property. We will be renting here again as soon as possible.
