The rooms are excellent, great size and well kept. Unfortunately we had a connecting room that seemed to have no sound barrier between the 2 rooms and we were privy to every word spoken in the neighbouring room. The pools were really great especially the lazy river and adults only pool. The food from the pool bars was just ok. The drinks were very expensive. The resort fee was high and in my opinion not worth the cost - not even breakfast was included in the cost, based on the overall value for money I wouldn’t stay there again. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The resort was crowded 10-3pm every day from cruise ship day passes which we didn’t enjoy. I would have stayed at their sister resort next door to avoid this.

The hotel is a cruise terminal. From 10 am to 4pm the hotel beach and pool are absolutely rammed with cruise passengers from the nearby cruise terminal. Staff seem to give preference to the day trippers rather than hotel guests. If you want loud music and crowds of people this hotel is for you … if not avoid this hotel.

I’ve been to 20 countries so far, even ones where I was racially profiled, and this has easily been one of my worst reviews yet. Minus the 2 lovely security guards and one person who I’m assuming is one of the managers, every person I was unfortunate enough to encounter had a very nasty attitude. You would think I didn’t pay for my room. Check in was not smooth. I somehow missed that check in time was after 4 (which makes no sense because if I can only check in after 4, that’s half the day already gone, but my mistake), so I had to pay $50 to check in at 12.30. No worries. I paid the resort fee, which I was told about, and the $200 hold fee, which I want. The receptionist (possibly to be petty because I complained about the check in time), gave me the wrong room number (wrote it down as well), and I spent 10 minutes trying to find it before going back down and encountering another manager who checked and gave me the right one. The lady at the pool bar was extremely rude and acted like taking my order was a bother. Never mind that I paid $20 for some fish and chips. My friend left her card so I went to get it. I came back to pay and she asked for the bill, which she had already printed out. I took it to her and she very rudely asked “what about the book? And my pen?”. Girl you didn’t not ask for those first? The wrap ordered ended up having bits of paper in it and apparently melting the cheese was too much to ask. Even the cleaner was rude, mind you we can’t to meet green slimy stuff on the shower head in what was supposed to be a freshly cleaned bathroom. Apparently I needed to request cleaning because no one came the next day, and when I did and she did, the shower head was left untouched, showing that she Infact did not clean the place. That aside, she did not finish laying the bed, and even left her can of Lysol in the room and left it at that. When I tried to order room service, she was so rude and sounded like she was being bothered, but found the ever to charge gratuity. For what exactly , when the service is so poor. It took me 3 separate phonecalls and 3 hours to get new towels and water on my last day, and despite confirming price and payment method with them at checkout when i was thankfully leaving, the taxi driver tried to increase the fare and yelled at me about having to use his credit card machine for “my small $40”. This isn’t even all, but I’m tired. The whole thing was a waste of my money and time, Bahamas is beautiful but margaritaville Nassau is an absolute 0/10!
